We made a quick trip through Superior to find a spot for dinner on our way home from hiking. We saw that DeMarco's had very good ratings, so we headed there. I was a little hesitant when we pulled in as the building is very...nondescript and somewhat small. I'm so glad we gave it a shot because we all really enjoyed the food. I ordered the green chili philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was SO DARN GOOD. They make their own bread and it was phenomenal! Everyone in our group enjoyed their food, from strombolis to salads and even eggplant parmigiana for the vegetarian. We will be back!More

We ordered two large pizzas and spaghetti with meatballs. Everything was fantastic! Just as good as the pizzas and pasta dishes from my hometown in Upstate NY. Their sauce is authentic, homemade and delicious. I could eat their marinara sauce alone, in a bowl with...a spoon! They don't skimp on the pizza toppings, either. The pizza was so good, that we ordered two more to go! We live around 30 miles from Superior, but will be driving back whenever we want great pizza and Italian food. It's well worth the drive. Just a sidenote: gas prices in Superior are around .60 cents a gallon less than the East Valley and Phoenix metropolitan area.More

Stopped on the recommendation of friends. The sub was excellent with a great homemade roll. Had the Italian super and it had just the right amount of meat and cheese in it. I had the sub toasted which created a crisp and warm roll. Highly...recommend this place. Planning a return to try the pizza. Prices good and have hand dipped ice cream on a fresh waffle cone.More

Great Italian food. Pizza, subs, full meals and fabulous homemade bread. Something for everyone on the menu. Casual setting and full bar.

Good food, quick service and good prices. I've eaten at the Demarco's in Superior and Globe....food is always consistently good. Salads are large. The eggplant is sliced thin with light breading and good sauce - my favorite - stop in and enjoy a nice memal

We stopped in here and we're pleasantly surprised to find it clean and friendly. The pizza and wings were great! We will definitely stop in again for them. The pastrami sandwich and fries were good. The parking lot is small but worth the trouble.

We dined there with friends. Food was good. The group had a variety of Italian fare. All was good. Service was a little slow but not bad. We were a large group, it was understandable. We also had some wine. Selection was limited. Greeted by...the manager. Will definitely be back but next time will try their pizza. Hear it is good. We like to try these local restaurants. They deserve our support particularly when their service and food are good!More

We tried there Italian submarines, the fillings were large and the bread was homemade, freshly made, and wonderfully flavorful.

After reading reviews and bumping into someone at breakfast that highly recommended, we decided to try it for dinner. On arrival there was only 1 table occupied, so no problem with seating. The restaurant is not very large with kind of an L-shaped seating arrangement....The other diners were in the front so we opted to sit in the other part of the "L." The server arrived shortly with menus. A few minutes later, the server asked if we were ready to order - No, we're still reading the menu. A few minutes later she was back again so we decided to ask questions. We came for the Italian meals which we finally found on the back page, rather than their sandwiches or pizza and after she answered our questions we placed our order. On other reviewer's recommendation we ordered the Fried Ravioli Appetizer, he ordered Stuffed Shells, and she ordered Baked Penne. The server had pointed to a card on the table for their wine selections which seemed to be only one winery so we opted to stick with water. After a few minutes, our server delivered 2 large, warm rolls with butter. Unfortunately, she forgot to bring eating utensils and napkins first. We tore off some bread while waiting as she got distracted and a couple minutes later she brought them to us. He tried to butter part of the roll but the butter seemed frozen so we quit trying to use the butter. The bread was tasty on its own, but a little dry. A few minutes later the Fried Ravioli arrived with a small cup of warm marinara sauce. The other reviewer was correct - it was surprisingly good. It seemed a little salty tasting at times, but other than that we really enjoyed it. He decided that fried was his favorite ravioli as well! Next came the salad that was part of our meal. It was a basic lettuce salad with green olives and red onion. All of it was fresh, crispy and much larger than we expected. Both of us enjoyed our entrees - no complaints at all. The servings were more than adequate, looked good when delivered to the table, and tasted even better. The favor of the sauce was really good and just the right amount so it didn't drown our entrees. It wasn't long before we were full so both of us took some of our meals home. The service at the beginning had us concerned with the wait for eating utensils and napkins, but once food started coming out her service was good. She checked on us several times without being intrusive, helpful with a smile, and kept empty plates cleared. The diner we bumped into had recommended the Shrimp Alfredo as his favorite but we were really happy with our choices. The day after we ate dinner, our neighbors told us they were headed to Superior to eat lunch here as they are frequent diners and have their favorites! Word of mouth is always a good referral for a restaurant to us. The Italian meal prices did seem a little pricey for the area. However, our food seemed freshly prepared with good-sized servings so we were happy and got a leftover meal out of it as well. The menu prices for pizza and sandwiches seemed average. Our dinner with appetizer, tax, but no drinks $32.07. We will be back.More
