It's hard, in Arizona to be too excited about a Mexican restaurant - they seem to be everywhere. But Casa Reynoso stands out as an excellent, homemade & authentic restaurant. My husband had a chicken burro - smothered in green chili & I had the best chili relleno ever! The rice & beans were outstanding. I can't wait to go... More

The food here was incredible and they served some very unique dishes. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is one of our cousins favorite restaurants in Arizona.

PROS: excellent beans, excellent rice, excellent cheese crisp, excellent enchiladas, and amazing green chili! CONS: the tacos were bland and looked like puréed beef, not shredded. Neither one of us could take a second bite. Also, they're amazing beans must be expensive, because it looks like they just take a spoon and paint some beans on the plate. You don't... More

We had a wonderful cheese crisp with green chile strips...(an open face flour tortilla toasted until crispy covered with melted cheese). Tacos (machaca) were cooked the old fashioned way - deep fried with a delicious meat filling. Guacamole, salsa and chips rounded out a comforting Mexican meal.

The Reynoso family has been serving outstanding Sonoran Mexican food for 78 years. We have been satisfied customers for nearly 65 years. The Casa Reynoso Tempe restaurant has continued the tradition of excellent food served in a family atmosphere. Janelle and Richard don't give us a menu -- they just put in our order. The other servers (usually owners) are... More

Was in town for a night in Tempe and checked out the internet for great Mexican food. The family that owns the restaurant has been in business since 1938. Figuring longivity alone was a great ref we went. What a find!!! Great food and great people. Thanks! !!

We stopped here after a trip to Ikea. It is in a strip mall, but once you are inside you would never know it. Great atmosphere and quick friendly service. The chip bowl is small, but there were always there with a refill. I had the Red chili in a bowl, Chili Colorado, and the wife had the chicken enchiladas... More

I don't know why people rated this restaurants so highly. We waited 25 minutes for very hot but tasteless Mexican food. My chile relleno is swimming in grease the red chili sauce on the enchilada had absolutely no flavor. My husband's Taco was absolutely awful.

We used to go to the restaurant of the same name on Kyrene & Ray in Chandler. The Tempe one is owned by the sister of the Chandler one. These two and many more in the Globe-Miami area are all family owned. The menu is the same across all and equally delicious. The Chandler one closed a year ago and... More
