We tried to get into a few restaurants along Mill Ave, but picked a night when ASU's football team was playing so every place was jam packed. We found this little Bistro just slightly off the main drag and were very happy with our choice! They have a very extensive wine list, but unfortunately we are not wine drinkers. The... More

If you are anywhere near Mill Ave. in Tempe you must try this place. Hand made pastas topped with a great selection of proteins. I had the Coniglio Pljukanci. I know I had to ask how to pronounce it and I still couldn't. How about the best handmade pasta topped with a slew of delicate and tender mushrooms and more... More

We had a team meal with 20 people and were blown away by the knowledge and attentive staff. I went back the next night with two co-workers and again the food was amazing and service outstanding! For appetizers over the two visits I tried them all, my favorite was the cheese tray. For meals I had the chicken dish (can't... More

I've been to Caffe Boa a few times for business lunches. The menu has many unique, and fairly sophisticated combinations and the lunch prices are pretty reasonable. Service was pretty good as well. Parking can be found just outside of the restaurant or in a nice parking garage nearby just north of 5th street on Maple. It is a good... More

Besides the smell of mildew and heavy cleaning chemical smell every time I visit, the food is horrible. Steak salad: meat (steak?) is served sitting on butcher paper in a pool of orange grease. Salad part is a handful of greens next to it. SoCal salad: good dressing but served with a whole piece (small) of chicken breast that was... More

Happy happenstance I walked past this gem. Unique wine list - with wonderful selections off the beaten path. The shrimp: Gamberi Adriatico is stunning, wonderful in a sauce to die for. So many choices in this neighborhood - this is the one!

I used to live in Tempe and this place was new since I'd lived there. It's in an area where parking can be annoying to find, but the paid lot across the street near the Mission Palms hotel is an alternative. They have an extensive brunch menu on weekends as well as $15 bottomless mimosas and sangria. Service was excellent... More

My wife, daughter, son in law and myself ate here before seeing a play at Gammage. They give a free desert if you are attending a play ( tiramisu was better than what I have experienced in NY) ......and all the food was excellent. Food is not traditional but has a Western European flair. Wine list was broad. Waiter chose... More

This place is a little off the beaten path in Tempe. We sat outside under the garden terrace draped in vines and twinkle lights. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get out of Arizona Grand Resort and into some real quality food. My mom and I dine and travel frequently, and we do a lot of trips with a strong... More

Our party of four had a mixed experience. While I thought my food was pretty good, my wife didn't like hers at all as it was dominated by garlic. My friend (who loves garlic) also didn't like it for the same reason. The outdoor seating was comfortable, but there are better choices in the area.
