I'm nor sure how we happened upon this place, but I'm so glad we did. It definitely looks more like a pub than a restaurant. It was a windy day, so we sat inside at one of the few booths. We were impressed with the variety of pasties. The young lady server was attentive and helped us narrow down what... More

I have visited CPC several times and try to order something different everytime- this really is a place you need to go on an empty stomach, when you want something out of the norm, or want to take an out of towner to. The food is unique, and if you think the term 'hearty' meal is over-used in restaurant reviews,... More

Visited on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. Great selection of beer and has the feel of an authentic pub. The patsys are a welcomed change from typical bar fare!

I've been coming here since the original place in Tempe was a single row of tables and the counter in a dark room with red lights hanging down over the tables. The original tables are still are favorite place to come for lunch after hiking South Mountain on a weekday.

This looked like something different to try and we were not disappointed. The interior is very, very dark... however, it was beautiful outside so we sat on the the patio. We ordered three pasties and split them up among our group and loved them all. I especially like the Shepard's pie pasty and the Greek was good as well. Although... More

Pretty much any flavor you want is available. Indian, American, traditional (british) or whatever. All in a flaky crust. Great helpful and attentive staff.

Met up with a friend of ours and I was a bit concerned when we first walked in the door but the wonderful smell kept us intrigued. We ordered the shepherds pie and the chicken pot pie pasties...really tasty and beautifully plated. The waiters were attentive but not overly friendly until we started joking with them. After finishing our lunch... More

I dined here for lunch with my husband and son. We ordered the chicken pie, shepards pie and the portabella chicken pasties. All 3 were delicious, but the shepards pie was off the hook amazing! None of us had ever had a pasty before and we were very impressed. Go here with a big appetite and expect to be more... More

Food and beer selection is great. Lots of variety in the pasties, a must try. Service is great and usually busy, so must be good.
