My partner and I stopped in for lunch here and were impressed with the delicious food, and amazing fresh watermelon smoothies. The prices are more reasonable than some of the more gringo-oriented places in town and there is a very sweet kitty that hangs out!

Great spot. Reasonably priced. Delicious food. Large portions (particularly the empanadas) and owner and staff were fun and friendly. Camarones de ajillo (garlic shrimp) was amazing.

I didn't get to experience as much Costa Rican coffee as I had hoped. But the cafe con leche here at Soda y Nanyoa did not disappoint. Best coffee I've had my whole trip!
