Offers a no-nonsense, wide range of breakfast, lunch and dinner options at a reasonable price. We only visited for breakfast but did so on a couple of occasions. Friendly and Tico-owned. A no frills, good value soda.

Dining options are limited for a Sunday dinner in Dominical. So it is that we ventured into this Tico family-owned and operated "Soda" restaurant. The menu afforded several choices but most of us chose the fried chicken either with fries or with the rice, beans and potatoes combination. One of us chose the porkchop dinner. The fried chicken was battered... More

Stopped in for a quick snack, the chicken was outstanding. It was crispy and hot, good flavor, not too greasy.

We real enjoyed our lunch time in this soda. We had freshly made empanadas and guacamole. Both dishes were fresh made and very tasty. The staff was friendly and the place clean. We will come again during our next stay in Dominical :-)

I have traveled all over Costa Rica and am very familiar with the "comida tipica". This restaurant truly has some of the best food I've had in Costa Rica and comes from a local family in a truly authentic atmosphere. The portions are large and the ingredients fresh. If you have a large group, you might overwhelm the kitchen and... More

Casado exactly as described in the many tourist magazines and blogs. Delicious and flavorful, and conveniently located in Dominical proper! I had been interested in the dish the locals call "marriage" since I arrived, and finally got to eat it here. The carne asada casada did not disappoint with a generous portion. The beans were seasoned well, and the potatoes... More
