What a gem! Five of us ate dinner here with exceptional service (ask for Lee Ann) & fantastic food. We even have dietary restrictions (gluten free & vegetarian) & they were able to accommodate us. We will certainly return. Go early as this is a popular place!

The highlight of the meal was the garlic knots, very good... I made a meal out of them. The pasta dishes we orders were suppose to have meat in them but neither of us could see nor taste any... must have been very finely ground. Service was very good and friendly. I would like to try their pizza sometime, heard... More

We've had their pasta--wonderful. But it's nearly impossible to come to Italian Peasant and not order the pizza. We prefer the Supreme with 5 items we get to select. If I get to pick the goat cheese, I don't care what else is added. The crust is flavorful and the sauce is perfect. Good variety of beers & wines and... More

My wife and son split a great pasta dish and I shared pizza with another son. We really enjoyed the pizza. We got a pie to go later the same week.

I have not walked out of many restaurants in my day but no one came to serve us for a really long time and I was with two children who wanted hamburgers the hamburgers were $15 and that was the cheapest thing on the menu. This place appears to be very popular there are always cars there they serve pizza... More

The slice we got was so good the first time, we had to come back to get a whole pizza. Really, great sauce, just right cheese and the crust - wow, tasty and cooked to perfection!

Just got back from this restaurant. It was 12:00. Hardly any one in there. I ordered the fish and chips. It came with their own homemade tartar sauce. If you don;t like hot things, don't order this as it was very spicy, so I just used plain mayonnaise. They totally ran out of ketchup, REALLY ? Waitress never came back... More

Coming from NY we are very sensitive in our choice for Italian Food. The Italian Peasant is a charming restaurant with good service, although usually crowded. The antipasto for 2 is a must for us with pizza as a main dish! Both very good and satisfying. A must do when we are in the Tubac area!!!

This is our "Go-To" place for pizza. We often have them par-bake to cook at home so it is fresh out of the oven take out since we live 45 minutes away. The other dishes are ok but the pizza and garlic knots are why we go there.
