This establishment in old town Yuma was overpriced for the food I received. My dish was $17, my wife's dish $18, and the appetizer was similarly high-priced. My pint of beer was OK for seven dollars. My wife's plate with two types of sausage, warm potato salad, and sauerkraut was average. My wife comes from a German background, and the... More

We love German food, so while we were staying in Yuma, AZ for a couple days and saw that there was a German Restaurant nearby we had to give it a try. The decor was Bavarian and there were lots of clocks and beer steins on the walls. We both ordered a German Beer which was very good. The soup... More

Went because we wanted to try the bratwurst. The food was overpriced considering it came with no side dishes and was adequate quality but nothing to write home about. We would not return.

I preference my remarks by saying I have rarely eaten a meal I disliked in the past seven decades. Second I have eaten a considerable amount of German food, both in the United States and Germany. Third, one guest lived in Germany for years. I suppose this sets the mood of my review. There is adequate on-site parking which can... More

We went there on a Friday night after hearing about it online. We were pleasantly surprised. This place is the real deal. The atmosphere is pure Bavaria with murals of German castles and mountain scenes. They also have a gift shop area with steins and German glassware and folk art. Being a weekend night there was a husband and wife... More

When we walked into this restaurant, I immediately loved the decor and German feel to their cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. There were 4 of us, each ordering different schnitzel dishes. Two of the dishes were great, one was good and one was tough and sent back. I have had tastier spätzle at other German restaurants... We had been wanting to try this German restaurant each time we visit Yuma during our winter visit as we enjoy a good German meal. The German decor of antiques, steins, etc was delightful. Our server was very knowledgeable regarding the German beers they serve and the menu. It was nice that they offered 1/2 portions of some of their... More

There's decent German food in this kitschy little restaurant. If you're looking to break away from all of the chain restaurants (Texas Roadhouse is the #1 rated restaurant in Yuma for crying out loud), visit this place. Support a local business and check out the old downtown area.

I had but one day to stop in Yuma on a business excursion and stopped in for a quick lunch. 90 minutes later I was stuffed full of "kartoffelpuffer" (German potato pancakes) brats and imported German beer served by a warm and friendly staff. I'll be back on my next trip!!

We were on a 6+ hour trek home from San Diego, and it was lunchtime by the time we hit Yuma. The fast food chains are a last resort for us, so once again TA took us to this unique German restaurant in downtown Yuma. Both of us went for their signature brats, and they were delicious and wrapped in... More
