I am a huge fan of Mr. G's, it's roots date back to the 1950s. As a kid growing up Phoenix, trips to San Diego meant that reaching Yuma was the half-way point and time for Mexican food. La Casa Gutierrez was the place to stop for tasty Mexican food, it closed a few years ago, but Mr. G's keeps... More

This place has delicious Mexican food. Very reasonable. I recommend rolled tacos and burritos. I also return to Phoenix with 5dozens of uncooked rolled tacos to make for my family. Easy to hop on and off freeway on your way to CA.

Mr G and Chili Pepper (same family owners) are legends in Yuma and are fondly remembered by those who use to be Yumans and have moved away. The food is very good, prices are reasonable, portions are just right. If you feel the burrito is too small, order a second one. The price is right. there is inside seating and... More

After visiting the folks, this is the 1st place we stop for food. Total deliciousness, worth buying 6 months worth to take home and freeze.

Everything here is delicious. Especially the bean and cheese burritos. Best I have ever had. once or twice a year (at least) I have family overnight me some burritos. Trust me all the hype you here about this place is warranted. Machaca burritos are awesome too.

We stopped while traveling on I-8 on the advice of a former local. Burritos were unique and tasty, as well as was the salsa. A very clean place. Good prices and value. You order at the counter for eat in or take out. We will make it a regular food stop on our way to San Diego.

My husband grew up in Yuma and he wad always bragging about this place. So while we were in town for a Funeral he took me here and I have to say I was really disappointed the food wasn't very good at all waste of time and money. Definitely won't be eating there again when we go back to Yuma...

We had heard all the hype about this place and decided to try it on a visit to Yuma. We were so disappointed! We got the Rolled tacos and it was completely flavorless. The meat had no type of seasoning on it and dipping it in the sauce didn't help as its a watery tomato juice with no flavor too... More
