Had dinner in the Avenue with friends on a busy Friday evening. The service was very efficient and friendly. We choose from the a la carte menu which has a very good selection. I had the lamb shank which was delicious, meat falling from the bone and scrumptious red wine jus. I then had the meringue mess which is strawberries,... More

We were a foursome dining the evening before a graduation ceremony, chosen on the recommendation of Reception at St Patrick's College; it definitley lived up to our expectations. We were in time for the Early Bird menu - available up to 18.45. We chose to accompany our meals with a carafe of house red and one of house white, both... More

I've been for lunch & dinner here - food is lovely & there is a good variety. Big portions as well. Service is good but a little slow at the weekends but that's because they are usually very busy.

I've been here alot with husband or friends and have enjoyed every trip. We decided to take the kids for a treat one Sunday afternoon. The kids loved it. I was very impressed at how welcoming the staff were and how friendly they were to the kids. Good selection of food for children.

My boyfriend & I had lunch on a very busy Saturday when there was a Christening party present. Despite this we received exceptional service and were very impressed with the quality of food. We will definitely be returning!

Had a gorgeous lunch here today. Brilliant value with the early bird menu, Brie for starters (with lovely Guinness brown bread instead of salad) and a very tasty burger for main; all for only €19. If I was to nit pick I would suggest holding back on the Christmas CDs for another couple of weeks...normally wouldn't notice the neutral music... More

We visited this restaurant twice in the one day! We were passing by and popped in for a coffee, and were made to feel very welcome. They also have an extensive gin menu, always a good marker in my book. We returned that evening to sample their early bird menu, and were not disappointed. The place is not too big,... More
