We dined here as a family one evening while visiting Carlingford. Enjoyed the oyster starter and fish and chips. Good pub food.

The café in Carlingford was full to the max so we went across the road to the Carlingford Arms. I ordered chowder which was tasty but so thick I was able to eat it with my fork as I wasn’t given a spoon. I also had to go and ask for the brown bread which should have accompanied the chowder.... Was down for a few pints for a birthday, lovely pints of Guinness must be said. Surprisingly not that common in Ireland! Standard good pub grub, wouldn't say it was overly priced or too cheap really.Bar man sussed our Taxi too! Bingo!

The Carlingford Arms was a great place to go and have dinner. The food is delicious and not st all expensive, approx€10 to €15 for an evening meal. It was lovely to sit and eat and not have the staff to rush us out when we finished our meal. Highly recommend this place for sure . 💕💕💕🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
