Visited on a Sunday afternoon and was not impressed. The food was of poor quality and paltry quantity for the price. Service was mediocre at best with the staff not knowledgeable about the menu. My partner asked if there were peppers in the salad which accompanied the lasagna as she has a sensitivity to them. She was told there was... More

The HiBi is a nice pub in the heart of Nenagh. What I like especially about this place is that if not too busy they will rustle you up a dish not exactly adhering to the set menu. The food is tasty and cooked nicely and mostly good value, it's not cheap but also not overpriced. The staff are helpful... More

We decided to chance the HiB on a Sunday evening for a quick bite of food. We went for the Cajun Chicken Tagliatelle and Bacon & Cheeseburger. We naively thought we would be in out and very quickly as the restaurant was very quiet and we weren't ordering anything too complex. 30 minutes had passed and we were surprised we... More

Bar staff had no welcome! Left menus on table and walked away. Eventually lady took our order, left glasses down with fingers in glasses, left knifes & forks in middle of table to sort ourselves. No please or thank you at all. When we paid she just took the money and left change on counter and turned away. I had... More

The food was tasty and it was good value for money, it seems impossible to eat more than a main (I could fill up on a side dish on its own)! The pub seems popular with the locals and at the back there is a quieter area to eat dinner.

Passing through Nenagh with family and decided to go to The Hibernian for dinner. Once seated at a table the waitress brought over menus and put them on our table without even acknowledging our existence while at the same time greeting patrons at the other side of the room. She didn't glance at us once nor give the usual greetings... More

I had the BLT with fries which is what you would expect but my husband's club was slices of turkey on his club. Huge sandwich even he couldn't finish! Loved our server, freckles and all!
