La Trinacria scores high for their food and their service. We enjoyed one of the best dinners of a two week trip in Sicily here. The antipasto small plates on neighboring tables looked amazing and copious but we opted for two pasta dishes and two meat dishes to follow. The pasta with 'Palermo' sardine and fennel sauce was fabulous. By... More

My husband and I ate here and I was expecting great things. I ordered the antipasto and found many of the items tired. A bit of tart that was not fresh. Cheese that was not freshly cut all of it so so. My husband ordered pappardelle with wild boar which turned out to be tagliatelle with ragu. The tagliatelle was... More

The quality of food is amazing and the variety just incredible. We ordered for some appetizer, just leaving to the owner (Luigi) the choice of which one was the best to taste; the result was that they brought a massive quantity of delicious appetizers (say 10 different dishes). Luigi also provided some explanation of the receipts, all coming from old... More

We were served a beautiful antipasti plate, 2 expertly made pastas (one with a spicy, creamy tomato sauce and the other with a salty, crunchy anchovy sauce), and a delicate dried fruit filled pastry for dessert. The service was pleasant, and the place was all locals - not at all touristy. If I was in Enna again, I'd go here... More

It is all to easy to eat at a restaurant & not review it, but tonight's meal & friendly service means I must! While we didn't eat lots of different courses, what we did have was delicious. Interesting choices & great flavours.

Right at the bus stop is La Trinacria where I needed to board a bus to Caltanessetta in 45 minutes. So, I needed a quick fix and ordered the cheese platter. Fantastic. I have no better word for it, especially the ricotta cheese. This was authentic ricotta - from sheep's milk. The freshness of the ricotta is what gave it... More

I was born in this place and I know the chef/owner and friend Luigi! He does not serve food he serves an experience topped with the finest ingredients, traditional recepies and passion. My words cannot explain you can only come and taste!!! Any food critic would struggle to find fault from the appetiser to the dessert the menu is extremely... More

Good restaurant, located close by castle and main via Roma street. Typical sicilian cuisine, big portions and really atractive prices. We took only two apetizers and three first dishes for three persons and it was already to much for eat. One of the best which I visited during 6 days trip in Sicilia.

if you travel to Enna and want to have a good meal, this is a place for you. Nice little trattoria, frequented by locals in a homey atmosphere. The service is very friendly, no English, but you are getting everywhere together. The vegetable sup was very good and the portion was very generous. The grilled fillet was very good and... More
