We had a most enjoyable lunch of roasted goat, baked potatoes, and spinich. An impresive menue at reasonable prices. A lovely friendly familiy atmosphere. Fast service. Its possible to sit in the glass enclosed verandah and watch the river and its activities. I liked most the inside setting of the resturant. For me I could have been dining 70 years... More

The restaurant was in a row of restaurants and we were attracted by the idea of goat which none of us had eaten before. The owner said was great but so were most of the dishes according to him. He was right 3 of us had goat ant it was tender and tasty I had the dorado which was equally... More

The modest looking small restaurant over looking the river is packed full of locals enjoying the lovely cooking of the chef. In particular the roast kid (which is only served on two days of the week) was very delicious.

We didn't enjoy the starter of varying small dishes. Main course meet dishes were superb in quality and excellent value, so much so we went back few times. Menu a little limited, but well worth it for a couple of occasions. Staff very friendly, but understaffed when busy.

We had a feeling of Faulty Towers but the omelette we shared was spot on and the steaks were overly generous. Older French couple near us shared one - typical but good call!

This was one of the best meals we ate while in Portugal. Sit outside on the patio and soak it all in. The food was delicious, the waiter was gracious, and the wine was easy to drink!

It is in the centre. We were approached on the street by a very friendly lady who recommended us a restaurant away from the river. We said we wanted a lunch with a view, and then she suggested this restaurant. Good advice! The restaurant has a terrace by the river, which in winter is protected from the cold by glasses... More

We hoped to grab a seat with a view of the river but the 'good' seats had already been booked. We sat inside and both had the steak. I felt the steak was served well, accompanied with fries and rice. Those who want something different can select from a different variety of meat and fish dishes. Unfortunately, there was minor... More
