Great evening and great staff with lovely food

Me and my wife were strolling by one evening and noticed this Indian restaurant. We had a look at the menu and we spoke to the manager and we booked a table for 19:30. We are so glad we did the food was superb,wonderfully cooked. The owner of the restaurant took our order and asked us how we would like it, for example mild, medium hot etc, I had the garlic chilli chicken as my main and it was exactly how I asked for it (medium to hot) my wife had the chicken tikka masala and she loved it to. We had chicken pakoras for starters and again great.The staff are so friendly and they made our evening so good,no rush just relaxed time and a great laugh. I would recommend this restaurant and would definitely book a table to avoid disappointment. Once again thanks for a lovely evening with great food, drink and friendly knowledgeable staff.

Birthday lunch

I had booked this for a birthday lunch. When we arrived we got seated, it was bright and sunny. Lovely and clean looking . I repeated that this was a birthday celebration, but after the dinner , nobody even mentioned or offered perhaps a little digestive or liqueur for the birthday person. So that was very surprisingly un- personal and uncaring. A little effort in kindness or caring will definitely be appreciated by clients. We left therefore a very small tip. which we normally increase with excellent service and care for a lovely experience. The food on the other hand was deliciously cooked ! So we can recommend the food. Prawn and chicken dishes alike, rice , breads, all very well cooked and presented.

Pleasantly Surprised.

Don´t let the décor put you off. Or the lack of customer service skills. The food is suprisingly good. Despite it being empty when we arrived - and a nearby Indian restaurant was full - we thought we´d give it a go, and we were pleasantly surprised. The chicken pieces were generous and tender. The rice was fluffy and plentiful, the Naan bread was sublime.

Do not miss out on this gem of an Indian Restaurant

This restaurant, for us, is an absolute must when we are in Torreblanca. The food is absolutely delicious. We have tried other Indian restaurants in the past and none of them (in our opinion), can compete with the flavours and quality of the dishes. I would encourage everyone to try the Indian Balti, Torreblanca because you'll not be disappointed.

Amazing food, Fabulous service, Best Indian in Fuengirola/Benalmadena

Party of 6 of us, visited 5 times whilst here on holiday. Food is amazing, very tasty and all meats very tender (chicken tikka / lamb). Service excellent, staff very attentive, friendly and accommodating, will change things if needed. Curries are cooked to perfection, if you order medium to hot you get what you’ve asked for, if you order madras hot it comes hot. Also went to the Cinnamon Club at Benalmadena Marina, food was good but not as good as here at the Indian Balti. Well done everyone, would highly recommend this place.

Delicious and amazing value!

Highly recommend! We had the menu for 2 for 37€. It included Pakoras, a main (I had chicken tikka masala), rice, and a naan each. It also included a free drink each (beer and wine). The food was lovely and hot and absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back next year!

My first Indian restaurant in Spain didn't disappoint!

Don't let the plain exterior fool you! Our food was delicious and the staff were very professional and accommodating. They asked us what spice levels we wanted and got it spot on. My partner prefers things less spicy and I like to sweat a little! Both our choices arrived with this taken into account. After eating a young chap who I believe was the cook came to ask us whether we had enjoyed the meal which shows some obvious pride being taken in his job. Would happily recommend to anyone who fancies a curry in the area.

Had the chicken biryani, signature Balti chicken curry, and eggplant curry (brinjal bhajee). Very delicious and fresh. One dish was very hot and spicy, as ordered, so we added a tasty raita (yogurt, cucumber, mint). Friendly knowledgable service. We tried several Indian restaurants on the Paseo, and this was probably the tastiest (with prices in line with the others). Note that they serve only Indian, not Italian or Mexican...

I have not seen smaller portions anywhere!

We have ordered 2 starters and 2 mains. One starter - prawn purée - was the tiniest I have ever seen, containing one prawn. The Mediterranean must be running out of prawns :) The other starter was ok in size. Madras main was nice, my partner enjoyed it, but my chicken shashlyk was the smallest ever, it was cut finely to disguise the fact that there were hardly 2 chicken cubes in it, for which they charged nearly 13 euros. The server forgot my drink, too, and we had to ask twice for it. Ironically, the bill was much higher than in the UK. I would not go there again.

Hi there,we have not had any complaint from.any of our clients.. 1st, you saying that Prawn puri had one Prawn, i can assure you that it's not the cash because I am chef and the owner of the restaurant and nothing goes out from the kitchen before it has been checked by me.. 2nd..The Shashlick normally have 7 pieces which is standard portion of our restaurant..Are you sure that you were eating in our restaurant?Because it does not sound like it,, Regarding your drink been late ,we do apologise for that ... I CANASSURE YOU THAT ITS DEFO CHEAPER THAN UK.. PS ,YOU NEVER MENTION ANYTHING WHEN YOU WERE EATING..

I love a good Indian ...

... and this is a good Indian. Extremely polite service with authentic tasty Indian food - the chicken dhansak was exceptional and the paneer was perfectly cooked. And with so many restaurants vying for customers, it was reassuring that the place was busy. Not cheap for the strip, but worth it. Will definitely return.

Amazing Food and great service

This is my favourite restaurant in the Costa del Sol. Great food with great service. The food is always cooked fresh to taste and you can specify exactly how spicy you want your food. I used to live locally but have moved further along the coast, however the food and service is so good it is worth the one hour round trip to visit. I have tried restaurants local to my new area but they are not a patch on the Indian Balti. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Have always had fantastic food here. You can have any dish made to any strength so if you like the flavour of a usually mild curry but like medium heat, then they will do it for you. Lovely, friendly family run restaurant.

BEST INDIAN IN COSTA DEL SOL

The realest and best Indian in Costa del sol. It’s so flavoursome and really tastes like the real thing unlike other Indians in Malaga that try to westernise their dishes . Their prawn purée is the best discovery so far ( it’s a starters ) we absolutely love it. Their curries are tasty, flavoursome . You can’t go wrong with any of them . I’ve tried around 10 different ones so far and not a single one has let me down . Their garlic cheese naan is the real deal unlike other Indians that will give you pizza bread like naan . We absolutely love it and have to train ourselves not to go everyday

Highly recommended for first class food and service. Excellent choice with all tastes catered for. The 2 set menus are excellent value and great house wine. They are very happy to adjust the curries to your particular taste ( mild to hot). Well worth a visit for authentic cusine.

Best Chicken Madras!

We had the Menu del Dia first first time, which was very good value and the food delicious. We couldn't resist another chicken madras so we had a take away the night before heading home. We have always found it hard to get good Indian food whilst on holiday but this restaurant did not disappoint and the staff were first class. We will definitely be back next year.
