This place was a pleasant surprise, I always enjoy Japanese and since I was staying at the Sheraton I thought i'd give it a go and i'm happy I did. The restaurant is smaller than you'd expect and we were lucky to get a teppanyaki table where we could watch the food get cooked in front of us, whilst the... More

This is really worth a visit. Clinically fresh Sashimi to start, absolutely wonderful Noodle dishes to follow. A real surprise to find a restaurant of this quality locally here.

Went here whilst staying at the Sheraton La Coleta and the restaurant is in the grounds of the hotel. It's a sushi, sashimi and tapanyaki restaurant and we managed to get a tapanyaki table and the theatre was very good although there are only two such tables. There is a very good selection of food and we shared a variety... More

Nice change if you are on half board and bored with buffet. Recieve E36pp to spend in Japanese v half board. E51pp tasting menu is very good, excellent sake and although chefs not Japanese have good skill levels and take request from seasoned Jap food eaters very well. For instence grilling prawn head to eat and adding garlic to teppanyaki... More

Mixture of set menus and individual dishes. The restaurant has two teppanyaki tables and a sushi bar. The teppanyaki tables are only seated at certain times (7pm and 9pm currently), so if you want to experience this, make sure you say so when booking. There are a number of sake options and Japanese beers on the drinks menu as well... More

High quality food. A decent selection of carpaccio/sashimi; then tempura; then teppanyaki chicken. Most were good. However the carpaccio/sahshimi was a vanishingly small portion so not terrific value.

Had the tasting menu which included sushi and tepenyaki .Good food.very well presented.Only slight complaint was the choice of dessert.I think that chocolate mousse is not in keeping with japanese food .Just a suggestion that perhaps fresh fruit migh be a good alternative.

The place is located within the Sheraton and most likely only of relevance for guests staying in this resort. The sushi were very good with excellent fresh fish. The noodles, however, reminded me more of an Asian takeout place than a top noth restaurant. This was compensated, however, by a good selection of sake, good service and a very nicely... More
