This was the most wonderful surprise experience. We live in Stiffkey and did a lovely coastal walk on an autumn Sunday afternoon. We had 45 minutes to kill before our bus home and couldn't find anywhere for tea and came across this small cafe with the most delightful staff. The tea was served in china cups and the cakes - homemade - were delicious and the portions huge. This is now going to be our regular tea stop,.

Wow! That's all I can say! This is my second review of this fantastic Cafe and the ever so delightful Jim. I cannot rate this cafe or his service highly enough! My little slice of heaven. Everytime I visit I am greeted like an old friend.
If you are in the area, this is one to try.
Kindest regards.

We had lunch here. We were recommended the pumpkin, chickpea and spinach curry and it was amazing. Freshly made by Sam 20 minutes ago. Followed by the most amazing slab of coffee cake and a gluten free chocolate bun.
Jim and Sam were so welcoming and friendly so if you are in the area, give it a try. It is well worth it!

Delicious meal - homemade soup and generously filled sandwiches. Warm welcome and the Norfolk Shortcake is not to be missed using a local recipe.

This little place, hidden away, is fantastic for service and the milky coffee and scones are to die for...Jim kindly lent us a knive for our takeaway scones - Can't wait to bring it back along with my partner as we were both invited back by Jim...which was just lovely...I could have chit chatted all day..and it was interesting to discuss religion, church, life in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere...wonderful...

We took my mid 80's parents to Blakeney for a trip down memory lane. Stumbled upon this amazing cafe - superb service and amazing food. What more could we have wished for! Made our day!

Stumbled across this cafe a week ago whilst on holiday, like all the other reviews it certainly doesn't disappoint. Being on holiday cake was allowed and it was delicious, a very generous slice of Victoria Sponge for me and a rocky road for hubby. From the minute I ordered and got talking to Jim I knew I had made the right decision. Jim is a lovely man and immediately makes you feel welcome.Loved talking to him and felt that we could of chatted all day. Unfortunately we weren't able to go back as they are only open a couple of days a week, but would love a Cafe TMC and Jim to serve in my neck of the woods. Excellent set up, keep doing what you are doing you have a fantastic place and very reasonable as well.

You would be forgiven for passing by this amazing little unassuming cafe that sits nestled away from the road in a Methodist Church in Blakeney. If you do decide to pass it by you will be missing out on so much. Go in and spend some time in the company of one of the nicest and funniest people you will ever meet. Jim is that ray of sunshine on an otherwise grey and dismal day. He makes you smile without trying and you could sit and listen all day to his amusing quips. The scones I am told by my husband are awesome and the rest of the cakes - all homemade- looked so scrummy. Being on a 'stupid' diet all the delightful treats on offer were off limits to me, but the wonderful lady in the kitchen managed to make cheese and ham look really appetising on skewers with tomato and cucumber. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff of Cafe TMC and it is ten times better than the more expensive cafes that you find in Blakeney and other villages. DO NOT MISS OUT. The only bad thing about Cafe TMC ? It is only open Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Following a meander along the glorious Blakeney Harbour on Monday September 2nd, I stumbled across the best cafe this side of the English channel! Great service, great food (amazing scones) and a fantastic atmosphere. The delightful gentleman who served us makes this place what it is... a small slice of heaven. What a charmer. All of this at such a welcoming price. Would happily have paid more to experience all of the above again. God bless.

Agree with the previous posts, this is a gem. If you prefer to take your break in a quiet courtyard cafe rather than at the car park tea bar this is for you. You will be well fed and watered and royally entertained by Jim and his crew. As if that isn’t enough it’s excellent value too. It’s tucked away but just aim for the Harbour Room and you can’t miss it.

We visited having been told good things about this cafe, and we were not disappointed. Lovely, friendly service from the moment we entered. Very cute cafe inside and seating outside on a lovely street just away from the main busy area of the village. They only had 2 small cheese scones left so they quickly offered to bake a new batch for us while we had some tea. No way to explain how good these delicious hot scones are - you just have to go and try them for yourself! The cheese and chutney sandwich was delicious too. All very cheap for such a popular Norfolk spot. Highly recommend you stop here for some tea, cake and lunch. Next time I'm back in Blakeney this will be our first stop! Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Also good to remember it's cash only and they take donations as tips, so bring change.

Went here for cake and coffee and the staff are so lovely and helpful, all the cakes are home made, definitely best price cake and coffee in Blakeney , just go up the high street where the shops are its on the left hand side , there is a few car parking spaces, will return when back in norfolk.

In need of a refreshing drink and bite to eat today after a long (and hot!) walk and this cafe really fulfilled that need.
Greeted by a very attentive gentleman who really couldn't do enough for us. Impeccable service. We had (the best) cheese scones, coffee cake, bakewell tart - all delicious, freshly baked and very reasonably priced. Others in the cafe were having soups, sandwiches etc - varied menu. There was a lady behind the scenes icing a new batch of cakes for the quickly emptying cake counter!! It was evident they were a very efficient team in a busy cafe.
Definitely worth a visit and we will without a doubt return to this brilliant little hidden gem cafe when we next visit Blakeney.
Thank you Jim and Sam for a very refreshing pit stop.

Stopped off at the tea room on a boiling hot August Sunday because everywhere else in the village seemed to be fully booked.
We were very glad we did as the warm welcome and lovely sandwiches and cake were well worth the extra few steps uphill from the overcrowded harbour.
If we’re in Blakeney again we’ll definitely return to this lovely tea room.
