Spent a night here and elected to dine there which was a good choice. There was a bar menu and restaurant menu. I had the Pan Fried Cod which came with leek fondue and sautéed new potato and crayfish and parsley creamed butter which was delicious. Hubby had the beef and ale pie and was able to have it with chips rather than mash. Would recommend

A super dinner, bed and breakfast stay on a Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning. Food is terrific - in particular the traditional full English breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a homely feel. Hotel is well laid out with lovely outside courtyard areas and plenty of space to sit inside and have a beer too. Staff all friendly and welcoming despite the uncertain times we are going through. Incredible views across the marshes from the front of the hotel. Super location to base yourself from if want to walk into Cley, Marston or further afield in either direction along the coast.

Very pretty with a cottage feel the room was comfortable and plenty big enough for me and my dog. The staff were very friendly and accommodating they worked very hard to meet guests requests even during COVID19 all areas had hand sanitisers and masks were worn inside. Very dog friendly hotel big portions of pub food available in the Bar area with your dog. I would stay again very peaceful tranquil and a fantastic location for some of the
most beautiful walks in Britain.

Oh dear, my wife had the catch of the day. The most inadequate piece of cod we have ever seen. As I told the totally disinterested waiter who thought that reducing the bill by the price of a gass of prosecco was adequate recompense, we will never eat here again.

The meal started very well with delicious starters and a nice wine, served in pleasant surroundings. But after a wait of 45 minutes we were told the order for our main courses had not gone through to the kitchen.
All 4 of us had ordered halibut. It looked as if 2 small portions had been divided between 4 plates. The fish was served with a large quantity of clams and samphire on top of a small mound of potatoes. Everything apart from the fish was swimming in a lake of what looked and tasted like dishwater. As a dish costing £29.95 it was completely unacceptable.
With an agreed 25% reduction in the bill we still paid £145 for a very poor experience. We cancelled the table we had booked for another evening and will not be back.

The hotel looks good on the outside. A good car park and an outdoor seating area where dogs are welcome.
No service outside, you have to find the bar to order drinks and then take a menu back outside to decide on food then return to the bar to order food, eventually once the staff can be bothered with you.
Dishes from previous table users were left and only removed by asking staff who were walking by empty-handed and ignoring them. The food arrived and was very poor. Eggs Benedict with the egg undercooked and the bacon poor quality and not fully cooked. The Thai pancakes were small but tasty. The squid was straight from the freezer coated in batter. Best was the broccoli and peas at £4 for a small dish. Add two glasses of wine and two pints of low-alcohol beer and the bill was close to £70.
I spoke to the restaurant manager, once he could draw his eyes away from a screen. He was rudely uninterested in what I was saying and gave me a sarcastic 'goodbye'.
No return trip is planned.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at the newly refurbished Manor Hotel and enjoyed our short break in Blakeney.
The hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard with beautiful furnishings and fabrics, furniture, bathrooms, cushions, pictures etc and the place looks wonderful.
The staff were still finding their feet a little, and seemed to lack guidance.
Service was haphazard and a little lacking but the overall experience was lovely.
highlights included cokmplimentary tea and coffee in the bar on arrival whilst the receptionist checked to see if our room was ready; Tiptree shortbread, handmade chocolates, Teapig teas, Nespresso machine and sleep spray on the pillow in both rooms. Dogs allowed (not in restaurant but we ate in the bar) and welcomed, lovely breakfast menu, all freshly cooked, well stocked bar and dinner menu.
lovely position overlooking the harbour at Blakeney with lots of ourdoor furiture to enjoy the sunshine.

Believe the reviews - staff extremely rude
No atmosphere. Fusty, old and very dirty.
Used to be a charming peaceful place and to be fair the garden is still lovely in the summer but staff are very rude and food has gone really downhill. You hear a lot of locals saying the same. Avoid! We had far better quality food from the vans at the quay!

Imagine overlooking the famous Blakeney marshes from the bar of the Blakeney Manor Hotel, preparing to tuck into your monkfish and samphire dinner, to hear the loud slurping of the dog belonging to the table next to you, eating it’s dinner. Gross. I almost left there and then. I get that the hotel is targeting the dog owners who frequent the area, but it needs to be more transparent about the fact that it is doing that to the detriment of anyone with basic expectations of customer service standards. The hotel mixes this strangely ‘relaxed’ approach to matters canine with an incongruously officious vibe. Service ranges from pinched to outright hostile. There was one member of staff who was helpful and friendly, for which, thank you. But I would urge anyone with a balanced approach to life to think twice about coming here - to eat, at least.

A beautiful hotel with some great staff let down by an inadequate chef
The menu itself is amazing which is why we booked.
However the chef was short on seasoning, mains were Luke warm and pigeon and duck over cooked and dry.
Went away feeling very disappointed
I’d also agree with previous reviews that the no cash policy is ridiculous and lazy.

Lovely food as always. A tasty fish dish, pies and you desserts all in a comfortable setting. Our only negative was that the service although friendly was rather slow even though there weren't many tables occupied.

Sunday lunch was excellent. Everything was freshly cooked. We has Sirloin of Beef and Lamb and they were full of flavour and unbelievably tender. Yorkshire puddings and the gravy were spot on too. Not to be missed. Can’t wait to come back and visit again.

Me and my partner booked in for a lunchtime meal at this hotel, we arrived at 1:50pm at the end of lunch but we got our order in with time to spare over the phone before we arrived. I ordered the burger off the menu which sounded nice but when it arrived it was over cooked, practically burnt. I was unable to send the burger back as the kitchen had now shut, the food felt very rushed so they could close the kitchen in time, which I feel was unacceptable! We also were kept waiting a long time for any drinks we ordered even though we were only one of two tables in the restaurant, only receiving these drinks after reminding the members of staff that we had ordered. All of this is very disappointing as the burger itself was £18 and the whole meal for me and my partner came to over £100. To conclude, unless they improve their standards I will not be returning as it felt like a waste of our money.

Visited for the first time since the change of ownership.
The refurbishment is lovely and has maintained the comfort and character of the hotel . We visited for a light lunch and were a little disappointed there were now no sandwich options on the menu .
The service was excellent and we will be back , but not as frequently unless we want a main meal or only coffee and cake .

We stayed on a Friday evening and had dinner there and then breakfast the following morning. We found that the bed was uncomfortable. We found the service in general could be a little brisk rather than friendly. A door to the outside was left open during dinner due to the pandemic, however, this made the room somewhat cold. The breakfast was good.
