A fabulous varied menu, not just your typical curry house. Had a mix of starters because just couldn’t choose! All delicious. Curries are amazing, some of the best I’ve ever tasted. You can taste all the flavours, perfect heat, fresh tasting. Even the accompaniments to the popadoms were just that little bit different and so tasty. So much so the chef came over to talk to us about what went in the sauces etc as we loved them so much! The service was outstanding. The waiters were professional, polite and went above and beyond to make your dinner experience great in my opinion. Hadn’t been here for a while due to lockdown and so glad we came back, it was even more fabulous than I remembered. Great value too for the quality. Thank you for a brilliant night, we will be back!

Just visiting Kings Lynn, the restaurant were fairly full when we arrived, having phoned to make the booking 5 minutes earlier. Hand gel available on entry; very courteous; plastic screens suspended from ceiling separated all tables; menu delightfully varied; food delicious; couldn't eat it all (very rare for me!). Warmly recommended and would certainly go again when in the area.

For a very reasonable charge we had a starter and main course each, together with rice, naan and up to 2 side dishes. This was more than enough food for the 2 of us and was extremely tasty, great service and friendly staff. A bottle of wine was very reasonably priced. We did book as the restaurant is fairly small, and would come here again on our next visit to Kings Lynn.

Charged us £20 extra for dishes we didnt order or eat. This was in the restaurant its self. Food is fine but make sure there isn't a set menu on that day like valentines day menu because if you only eat a main and don't want any of the sides, deserts or starter you will still be charged for all of them even if you ate them or not ( The items didnt make it to the table as we told them we just wanted a main dish from the normal menu ). These people are cons big style and until they conned me out of my money i would of came back as the food is decent enough and i live down the road.

What on earth has happened to the food!!!!
This used to be very good indeed but we had a takeaway that we collected and were severely disappointed. We rang the order through and were told it would be 15 mins, we got there and were told he said 50 mins! They got the order incorrect and the lamb ticka was so over cooked it was inedible ,(we ordered chicken) the bombay also was tomatoe flavoured with no spice at all, as for the rest of the food, it was bland and tasteless. I won't be visiting again, very unpleasant.

We ate here on our first night in Kings Lynn as it was an easy walk from our accommodation.
It certainly proved to be a good choice, the restaurant is bright and clean and the Bangladeshi food top class. There is a very extensive menu to suit all tastes assuming you like Indian style food. The food was all individually cooked with fresh produce and washed down with Kingfisher draught lager it was a pleasure to dine there. The service was excellent and the staff very pleasant. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in King’s Lynn.

We ate at Spice Inn the first night of a short stay in King’s Lynn and had to return within the three days, we enjoyed the first time so much!
You know when you get a huge menu with a million choices and don’t know where to start? Not here! Just a concise menu of interesting and unusual dishes from different parts of India/Bangladesh, then a short section offering all the standards too (masala, madras, biryani, etc) with veg/meat/prawns of your choice.
We had one tricky customer (me) but vegan and gluten-free carefully catered for. All of us loved our meals, including chicken dishes, vegetable side dishes, and vegetable naga to die for. Desserts great too.
Staff members all VERY helpful and friendly, and the restaurant has a great ambience – smallish and cosy (+ clean loo).
Fantastic experience – we’ll def return whenever we’re back in King’s Lynn.

Booked a table for 5 friends and had a very enjoyable evening. The staff are hard working and attentive, going out of their way to provide items that were requested, but not actually part of their selection. We all enjoyed the dishes that were prepared for us, the Sea Bass in particular was delicious .
We will definitely be back soon.

Stopped overnight in Kings Lynn and fancied a curry so I chose this place as the reviews were good. First thing it’s a very small restaurant so not many seats, we went early so got a table with no problem. We had the special menu for £14.95 each which consisted of a starter, main course, one side dish, rice or naan. We had a rice and naan between us.there was plenty to go round. Great value, the starter I had was a mixed kebab and it tasted fresh and there was plenty on the plate. Main course I had a chicken Karahi which also was good.Naan bread was fresh and tasted great. Staff were polite and attentive.
I would recommend this restaurant and would go back if we ever pass that way again.

We went here our first night in King’s Lynn and were AMAZED: one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve ever been to! Excellent spicy food, and extremely helpful head waiter who quickly understood what kind of food we enjoyed. We went back the next night, and next one.

What an absolutely superb place to eat. The food was absolutely delicious, high-quality, beautifully presented. The waiters were extremely attentive, on hand to answer any questions we had. It was a real bonus to be able to bring our own drinks - because the food is so reasonably priced it made it a very affordable night out. Well done Spice Inn and thank you! You deserve your spot as one of the best places to eat in King’s Lynn!

We have been users of a different Indian restaurant in Kings Lynn over the past 20 years. It has gone downhill and we are looking for a new haunt. Tonight we ordered a couple of meals to collect. I have to say we have REALLY enjoyed it, the curries were superb! A forgotten rice was very promptly delivered to our front door. We will definitely be using you again. Thank you so much!

By far the best Indian food we have had for a long time. Friendly knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere. The food was so tasty, the rice's were light and full flavoured and the breads were fresh and hot. The service was perfect, not too long between courses and a reasonable choice of drinks.

I bought a meal for delivery for myself and 3 friends. Worst curry I have ever eaten. The food was sloppy and lacking in flavour or spice. The main ingredients (meat/veg) were very lacking, all dishes were mostly sauce with a very stingy amount of meat/veg - even the tarka dhal was lacking in lentils - it was more like a thin grey gravy with a few lentils added. The food was very hot when it arrived so I didn't notice until it had cooled down a little that the paneer in one of my dishes tasted really off, so I stopped eating it but sadly I had already eaten a couple of bits of it. 3 of us got upset stomachs, mine was really bad and left me in bed for 2 days (the other two had different dishes from mine but had upset stomachs for 24+ hours). I eat a lot of curries and can cope with very spicy food (although they seem to have forgotten to add any spice to my dishes at all) I have never eaten anything as awful as this. I had checked the reviews too and it looked like it would be OK. Worst £78 I have ever spent. If I ever visit King's Lynn again I most certainly won't be eating food from here! It was 4 days ago and my stomach still isn't fully better. If we had eaten in the restaurant the whole meal would have been sent back to the kitchen.

Visiting relatives near Kings Lynn and needed to eat out on one of the hottest days of the year. Picked the Spice Inn and unfortunately the air con wasn't working - they gave us a table by the door which wasn't too bad.
Excellent service, friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble. Not regular eaters of Indian food - we chose fish for our starters and mains - and have to say it was really good. Portion sizes just right for us, really tasty and a most enjoyable meal and great value. Hopefully will go again next time we are in Kings Lynn.
