Went here for the first time for lunch and was surprised by all the clocks, they have 220! They are big, small, old, New and most chime. It is a lovely old pub and we had a very good lunch with homemade food.

We visited this pub for drinks in the evenings while staying in the area recently. The staff were rude and unfriendly, a conversation we were having with another couple was interrupted by the bar maid and on arriving one evening we were abruptly told that...More

We turned up without booking and asked if there was a table free. We were told very abruptly that they were very busy with two large parties but if we sat over there - a very small area out of the way we could be...More
