Service and food are brilliant!! Warmly greeted upon arrival for our lunch reservation and escorted to our table. Enjoying a glass of wine when Paul Ainsworth arrived and greeted us warmly, he took us into the kitchen where we were introduced to his head chef...More

I cannot wait to go back to this amazing place. We ate here to experience a 3 rosette menu and we were not disappointed. Myself and 4 colleagues dined back in Autumn 2016 and the team at no 6 knew we were coming. They could...More

This was our second visit and again, it turned put to be a wonderful evening! Staff were attentive but not overly so. From the moment we walked in, we were looked after very well. The food tasted as good as it looked. Our young teenager...More

Took my best friend here for her birthday lunch. The food was incredibly inventive (the braised pig cheeks were out of this world) & the staff were very polite and attentive. Whilst my friend & I really enjoyed our lunch, I know that if I...More

It has taken us a ridiculously long time to make it to Paul Ainsworth and, given how great it was, we are kicking ourselves for not having gone there before. Since Nathan Outlaw left Rock for Port Isaac, this is our closest Michelin-starred restaurant and...More

Arrived 25 minutes early and went up to the bar for a drink. Excellent range but music odd and loud. Very surprised that we were not given menus to peruse and perhaps order. Went down to our table on time where we were squeezed in...More

We didn't know what to expect at No.6, we looked at the menu online and decided to go with an open mind and try different things to what we'd usually go for as the dishes are so inventive. We purposely arrived early so we could...More

Some years ago, my wife and I enjoyed a superb meal with you which I have described to many friends since. At that time you provided an A4 sheet of paper on which there was the outline of a tree - on each of the branches was a balloon showing an individual ingredient ten of which we chose. From this you prepared our meals, which resulted in a dinner to remember. Do you still offer this 'menu' - I am visiting Padstow next week with some friends and hope to be able to treat them to this experience ? Look forward to hearing from you. Neil - Amersham

Hi there, the menu you mention wasn't offered when I visited - and I agree with the Reviewer above - a select menu - but absolutely beautiful and unusual - a real treat!

Why is it stupid to ask if they accept dogs? We regularly visit Michelin star restaurants in France dogs not a problem more welcome than young children as they are better behaved. There are no laws to stop them allowing dogs just ignorant restaurant owners!!!

I couldn't agree more - I find that dogs in restaurants seem to behave more than customers - they don't get drunk, don't get abusive and as long as they have a bowl of water and a morsel of what you are eating they are a... More
