Excellent evening in every respect. The tables in the restaurant were a decent size and afforded just the required amount of privacy to be relaxing. Staff were professional and attentive but not intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, every single mouthful...More

Rather pretentious atmosphere but food and service was very good. I had grilled plaice and dh had cod curry. 3 courses for £23.95 was pretty good value I think. It had to be done (when in Padstow, eat at Rick's place!) but wouldn't repeat it.

The menu is short but excellent, the service is very good normally but when we advised them the Plaice was 'wet' and not very enjoyable they didn't respond beyond, 'oh'; I would have expected this removed from the bill. However, the remainder of the meal...More
