It's such a unique place. Sitting on tressle tables watching the baking and helping yourself to the food. You eat then you pay at the end on an honesty basis. It's a really friendly place but busy. At weekends it's hard to nab a spot on a table tho you can wait until someone leaves then dive in. Well worth... More

Deliciously sausage plait and salad, and friends had bacon sandwich - but it was the fabulous home made bread that made it so good. Easy, relaxed atmosphere with fresh food! Well worth a visit!

Feel lucky to find this place before we left Lyme Regis. Can't recommend this place highly enough for breakfast or brunch. We visited on a Sunday around 9am, had a selection of pastries, toast, and cooked breakfast. The drinks and food were all stunning, as was the super friendly staff. I wish I had a place like this near me... More

This is a review on the bakery not the cafe. My partner popped in this week to buy a large loaf and was frankly astounded to be advised that it cost £7, in fact he thought he had misheard. Thinking on his feet he asked for a small loaf instead. This was £3.50!!! and size wise resembled a large roll/boule...he... More

Loved it here! Had eggy stack which was fab, now want to try the egg & bacon sandwich. Loved the DIY toast, long benches and huge bowls of butter. Highly recommended.

We visited a few coffee shops in Lyme Regis during our holiday but this was by far the coolest and had the best coffee. It looks and feels like a workshop when you walk in, coffee and food is made right in front of you and you sit on long benches. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Coffee was first... More

This used to be a firm favourite either to visit or get our bread from. But sorry, £8 for a large take out loaf of bread is just getting silly.

Relaxed and homely atmosphere with great food and drink. The whole idea of eating in a working bakery is fantastic and I shall always go there when in Lyme Regis. Kids loved it to and we felt like part of the community. Yummy and scrummy!

What a different bakery this is, a bit confusing at the beginning. Breakfast, bread and pastries are really good. And the best coffee I found in this town.
