Beautiful setting, amazing food and the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Lacock

We ate at the sign of the angel last Saturday. It is more of a special occasion place as there is no pub to sit in and have a pint it is a restaurant. The starters were ok but the main courses of venison and...More

The food was really tasty and such a beautiful venue in the heart of Lacock. I had the chicken liver parfait to start and belly pork for my main and was not disappointed, oh! and the crackling was excellent.

I’ve been meaning to eat here for ages and finally took a friend for lunch as a treat. The dining room with open fire was gorgeous, the service was polite and efficient and there was so much on the menu I wanted to try that...More

Beautiful 16th century coaching inn in the prettiest of villages. We stayed for two nights. The food was very good, although both nights the main course needed more jus, but other than that, delicious. Our slight problem was that we didn’t feel “looked after” as...More

We were staying in the hotel and absolutely loved this charming place. The restaurant had a nice garden for drinks and was quirky with low beams and lots of character. The food was great, interesting menu. We had a great evening.

Visited on recommendation and generally good reviews on here. After eventually ordering from a very confusing menu had to wait over an hour for our main course having not had a starter. When it arrived was dry and cold. Service was apathetic and we felt...More

Second visit to the restaurant was as good as the first. Lovely main meal of tagliateli and a delicios pie. Well cooked and very tasty. Some nice desserts were also excellent. A lovely restaurant in a gorgeous old building.

We love laycock and we love the Angel This visit didn't disappoint... a busy lunchtime service meant we were offered a table in the 'other' dining room. We found ourselves unexpectedly having our own private dining, the most enormous open fire to keep off the...More

The staff are all wonderful. I feel certain the chef will fix her a vegan meal. My suggestion to you would be to send them an email to let them know so the chef has a chance to make arrangements. Hope this helps! The place... More

Hi, Thank you for getting in touch. We don't have any official Coeliac Society accreditation; perhaps we should look into the criteria, as we always offer dishes that are suitable for Coeliacs. Furthermore, we will always... More

Hi, We just have bedrooms in the main building. The cottages over the stream are owned but someone else. I'm not sure if they are still B&B rooms. Please let me know if I can help any further. Best Wishes, Tom
