We had friends visiting from Canada who wanted to see Glencoe and after looking around we went to Laroch for lunch. We all had soup which was really tasty and served with a variety of home made breads. We then moved on to open sandwiches served on their own bread - again really good and finished off with great coffee.... More

The restaurant kitchen is run by Michelin Star Chef Allan Donald Sous Chef Eileen Donald and their staff. This fact is truly reflected in the standard and variety of food offered. Contrary to my expectation, the prices were not ridiculous, not cheap but very affordable. We were in Ballachulish for three nights and elected to eat here on two of... More

On 6th April we had lunch at Laroch. This was our 3rd visit, and the last 2 visits were unbelievably good, hence the reason we returned. We were planning to use this as a venue for a big party in June for 17 people. Having ordered on my last visit a Thai curry, I reordered this as the presentation and whole... More

We visited the restaurant for dinner. It had a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with a really interesting menu. My husband had the Glencoe Mussels to start which were so fresh and tasty and I had the salmon. Both delicious. For main I had the slow cooked beef and H had the slow cooked lamb curry. It was wonderful - such great... More

Went just for a drink a couple of times. Really enjoyed chatting to the friendly locals and Fiona the barmaid. Would definitely go next visit and hope to find the same nice people.

I have been to the Laroch a few times in the last year, but this time was really good.i had the soup and homemade bread which was delicious. For main course 2 of us had the duck and 1 had the shin of beef. I have to say the duck was magical. On a bed of creamed cabbage with Gratan... More

Laroch is so good we ate here three times on our recent holiday in Ballachullish, Glencoe. Each time we were extremely delighted with the service and meals and because the bar is dog friendly we were even happier. The duck dish I had was probably one of the best meals I have ever eaten!! We wouldn't hesitate to come back... More

We had an excellent dinner here. The flavours in each dish just sang out, with well thought out, interesting combinations. Rib-eye steak with tarragon butter was cooked to a perfect 'rare' as requested with a really good char on the outside. My partner's lamb chump was tender, delicious and once again cooked perfectly to his taste. Puddings were delicious too... More
