I walked the high street in search of something for tea. Aroma is a family run cafe during the day & a good eatery of an evening. I had a really good pizza, freshly cooked from scratch. The other diners were American & English, all were treated to the same wholesome cooking and the friendly waiter's attention. Highly recommended for... More

Had lunch with the kids. Portion sizes small but toasties were tasty enough. Staff were friendly, place was pretty basic though.

Having first gone somewhere nearby where we stood, and stood, and stood waiting not to be served we headed in here instead. Here we found friendly, prompt service and the cafe is clearly popular with local people. My toasted sandwich was very nice, the salad was fresh, the tea hot, and the coffee was not too strong.

We have been here a few times before. The food is lovely and have never been disappointed. Lasagna is amazing! The only downside is that you come away with your clothes smelling like a chip shop. Ventilation problem? Apart from that, very good.

We had a smashing veggie breakfast here and would recommend it to others. The rest of the menu looked good so we'll be back in future.

cafe by day restaurant by night, the best macaroni ever served up with chips and a side salad, great portion sizes, better prices, good coffee and the young man who serves through the day is very nice to his customers and worth a wee tip for sure, would not hesitate to recommend this place for food and a large capuccino
