A friend took us here for lunch and I'm glad they did as it's an absolute gem! We got in just in time as we got a table straight away but from then on people were queuing up the stairs for a seat. It was easy to see why people would wait for a table when our food arrived! The... More

We had a lovely lunch here on a busy Wednesday afternoon. Service was good and food was great. I highly recommend the desserts... Victoria sponge was excellent!

I loved my Meatballs, unctuous! Friendly happy waitresses, must be well managed. Great food. Good Gluten Free provision. We're visiting the area in October and will definitely return.

There is always something new to look at with ever changing exhibitions in Designs and a great cafe underneath with garden for the better weather. Shop is full of great gifts and hand designed and made Arts and crafts.

Had lunch in this busy cafe in the Main Street. You will need to find somewhere to park off the Main Street unless you are very lucky. The choice of specials was limited. They had run out of the lamb option. The chicken wrap was OK but a bit boring with too much chicken. The staff were friendly and helpful.... More

We were served fairly quickly, food was good, looked good as well. the girls serving were polite and attentive. The café is downstairs which is different but I liked it..in summer there is room to sit in the garden.

We were introduced to Designs by a friend who's a regular there. Whether you want a coffee and cake, soup, or a wholesome full meal you'll get it. The fare is great and service prompt and friendly.

We've visited this cafe several times over the years and always leave feeling happy! The menu is varied and caters for many tastes. The staff are friendly and the food looks and tastes great. Yes it can get a little busy but that's because it's such a good place to eat and drink. Thoroughly recommended.

We had two dogs with us and we're blessed with a glorious sunny lunchtime in March. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly when we had a delicious lunch in the lovely garden. Highly recommended.
