Excellent dinner. Different of others restaurants, but are amazing. The people who attended was so gracious. The meal was also greatest and very delicious. Superb. Very important note, the view at night from there was great. To repeat very soon. Thanks. 5*

This is restaurant was the best surprise during our short break at Gerês. Modern architecture hidden on the Gerês hillside, lovely atmosphere and stunning views. I really recommend the outdoor area to have your meal if the weather allows. The service is perfect, all staff...is nice and helpful. The food is delicious. We had Bacalhau paired with Soalheiro Alvarinho Vinho Verde Branco, great pairing. For dessert we shared "Doce da casa" and "mouse de chocolate", can't decide which one was the best. Looking forward to visiting again with friends and family. I strongly recommend a visit if you are around. The access is not easy but it is worth, and the breathtaking views all the way. If you have luck you may see some wild cows and horses, just to make it even more idyllic. It is not just about food, it is an experience!More

The restaurant as an amazing view. There isn't the usual variety of plates served, but they are just enough. Great meat. A little bit on the expensive side.

We had a very good experience in this restaurant. The food was great, and we tried the codfish and the steak (posta). The environment was pleasant, quiet and the (night) view really inspiring. We tried as a group but I believe it is more suited...for a romantic dinner.More

We were unprepared for how amazing this restaurant is. As you arrive you are treated to the awesome view and everything from then on is considered, designed and wonderful. We had a chat with the proprietor whose vision and passion has driven this project and...deserves success. All this, and delicious food. You should definitely make a detour to visit this restaurant.More

When roadtripping the National Park Peneda Geres I bumped into this place, the only restaurant I found in the nearby area. It is fantastically located with spectacular views over a mountain valley. I tried their traditional bacalao dish with boiled potatoes and vegetables. The bacalao...itself was great, the potatoes normal, but the vegetables were merely a handful of boiled cabbage leaves which was a bit of a disappointment. To my surprise, I was billed for the bread and olives they put on my table without me requesting them and without me even eating the bread. I find it very annoying when restaurants do that. Nevertheless, it's a lovely place and apparently very popular among locals as the place was packed with Portuguese lunch guests.More

We’re touring Portugal on a motorbike and enjoying the most amazing weather. We left Geraz Do Minho intent on riding through the Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerez. We couldn’t have been more impressed, or amazed, by the beautiful countryside views and roads. To top it off, we...spotted Abocanhado as we passed through Brufe at about 1.30pm. The views from their terrace are stunning. We were warmly welcomed, our motorbike gear stored away, and showed to our table with courtesy. The food was delightful, the service great and we talked with the manager and a number of guests who shared local knowledge warmly with us. Altogether a great lunch in an amazing location. They’re building accommodation scheduled to open in February 2020 and we plan to go back to do the wine list justice.More

Visited Brufe to undertake a circular mountain walk. Arrived for a late lunch. Restaurant was full but found a table for 2 outside with an absolutely magnificent view. Had a selection of starters - cheeseboard wonderful - with a salad each, all of which were...excellent. Wine selected by maitre d - very good. Great service, nothing too much trouble. Card payment slow but got there in the end. Highly recommended.More
