Seven of us and a baby in high chair went for traditional seaside fish and chips. The service was fairly quick and friendly. The food freshly cooked and very generous portions served. Great hand-cut chips. Lovely coffee too!

We came here last Friday for tea. Really glad we booked as getting a table can sometimes be a struggle, due to the well-deserved popularity of the place. Love the atmosphere and the good was stunning. We both had burgers, I had a cheeseburger, can't remember the name of it but I do remember that my husband had the morning... More

Love this place it's a great welcoming friendly pup that serves good food and drink .... we call it a dangerous pub !!! There's always a danger once in there you won't want to leave. Always a favourite when visiting Barmouth 😀

Oh dear. We came here looking forward to a decent meal. Instead we go average greasy food. Customers are packed in like sardines, to the point where the table next to us were almost on top of us. Average would not receommend

It's a beautiful pub both inside and out. Very stylish but that's as good as it gets. The food was average at best. The waiter at his best was average. After our meal we sat at the bar. Tried to chat to a few locals, were made to feel very uncomfortable and left. We drove 20 minutes down the road... More

My fiancé and I along with our dog visited here today, we are away for a few days staying in a nearby village and ended up in Barmouth via train, after a good walk we decided to head here as I had seen reviews and that it was dog friendly. We arrived shortly after 12noon and were all (including the... More

I visited this pub on the 29th December with close friends and our family's. (9 of us altogether)The building is a delight and the Christmas decorations were something else. We snuggled into a cosy corner of the pub and ordered drinks. Settled the 5 kids and browsed the menu. I approached the bar to discuss options for my nut allergic... More

Beautiful inside but you can't rely on this alone. Rude male manager who can't wait for one second for a disabled person to pass by. Same manager has OCD, moving customers at the bar out of the way to perfectly align drip trays that may have moved half an inch. (Suggestion, maybe use a spirit level to check everything's cushty...
