What a fabulous little place. We booked our weekend in Barmouth over 6 months ago and had been told how good Bistro Bermo was by friends. We booked online initially but didnt get a response so I telephoned and left a message. Emma called me back and we were confirmed for the night before we wanted as on the actual... More

The Bistro is well deserving of its excellent reputation and quality reviews. The restaurant is very beautiful with some amazing artwork on the walls. The tables are clean and well laid out and the lighting is enough to see but not so bright as to ruin the romantic mood. The service was exemplary and the servers extremely courteous and attentive... Bistro Bermo is well deserving of its great reputation. The service was very friendly and efficient but this was overshadowed by the faultless food. There was plenty to choose from on the menu but not too much to hinder the chef from executing each dish perfectly. We both had three courses and thoroughly enjoyed each. Due to its popularity booking... More

A wonderful little restaurant. Lovely food, cooked to perfection with a delightful lady serving us. The steak was probably the best I have ever eaten in a reastaurant and my husbands cannon of lamb was beautifully tender. We had no room for desert and cannot wait to go back again for another fine dining experience.

We are returning customers and visit Barmouth yearly for Walking Festival usually a group of us but this year just us we always celebrate our first night with a meal here. A small restaurant under 20 covers so a booking is required but food is amazing a little more expensive but worth every penny . I had Menai mussels followed... More

Fantastic little find with only a handful of tables it fills very quick so book early. The food was superb and although a little more expensive it was worth every penny spent. Choice is enough that each dish can be cooked and presented very well.

This is a little gem in Barmouth therefore it is nearly impossible to get a table (in summer) unless you are pre-planned and book early e.g. a good couple of weeks. The food is just about faultless. As well as their menu they have a daily specials board. The best in Barmouth? We shall be back.

This is a little jewel of a find. I'm a self confessed foodie, a keen cook and have lived in France so I know good food when I taste it! This is quality dining in a lovely atmosphere. Steak cooked just as I asked and was amazing. We had a lovely evening and would really recommend treating yourselves. Beware though,... More

Tried to book by phone the night before for an anniversary meal but was told that there were no tables free. However the manager rang back later to ask if we still wanted a table as there had been a cancellation. We accepted and were so pleased we did. The food was excellent in all aspects and the service was... More

I booked a table for our wedding anniversary after seeing the great reviews on here. We weren't disappointed. From the moment we walked through the door of this little Bistro we were treated to an amazing experience. Our youngest daughter is fussy to say the least so the offer of homemade chicken goujons in tempura batter and mashed potato made... More
