This is a perfect pub for drinking (I haven't eaten there). Often two fires, friendly locals, comfortable old furniture and excellent beer

Came here last weekend at short notice. V busy with Christmas parties going on but they managed to fit us in. Delicious food and attentive service. Nice atmosphere. Wanted to come back following night but fully booked.

Friendly local, just usual pub grub. Would be better if menu changed more often. Portions far too large for me.

Food was excellent - it is a good beer guide pub and so the beer was top notch as well. The pub and locals were all easy going and happy to chat. There was a large screen showing the football, but there was another room, which could be used if you didn't want distraction.

Arrived to stay at the meeting house but was lost. Staff at the inn were friendly and helpful, as were the locals.

Very busy but welcoming even though we visited during the Rugby World Cup and Wales were playing. Good selection of beer and side. Nice food.

Great start to a camping weekend, stopped here on the friday and then camped the Saturday in a woodland area on the Brecons. We ate well and the Ale they had on offer was good. Breakfast was good and gave a good start to a long 18 mile walk.

Many, many years ago this used to have an excellent reputation. We returned to see if it still had it. No. It doesn't. The interior was scruffy, the food was barely edible and we waited an hour for it. Wouldn't have minded the wait if the food had been worth it, but my mother, daughter and myself did not finish...
