What a fantastic place to go to for a lunch and celebration ! The food was great, steak on a bun and California clubhouse. Both were deliciously savoured along with a spicy ceasar to start and topped off with their famous Carrot Cake! The service was wonderful with lots of time to catch up and take home those leftovers !

My husband and I went to The Iron Skillet for our anniversary dinner. We both ordered the Strip loin Steak. The steaks were both cooked the way we ordered them. (Mine Rare, my Husbands Medium) Both were tender, juicy, and very tasty. They were served with Mashed potatoes or fries. (Unfortunately no baked potatoes)
The Server was pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed our meal and will be going back to try something different soon.

I'm Pescatarian, The seafood dishes here are amazing! and have been told by a younger inspiring cook that the desserts here are great as well, so I have something to look forward to on my next visit. The 4 or 5 times I have been here, I have had Latisha or Huzefa as my food friend.
The Iron Skillet's professional and friendly employees make this the place to eat in Wasaga Beach / Collingwood hands down every time I do not feel like cooking.
Thank You to the owner's & all of the employees at the Wasaga Beach location.

Called to make an order staff were rude and unprofessional, food was very over cooked and flavourless. Bruschetta was burnt and so were both chicken parms, pasta was dry and almost no sauce . Second time this happened won’t go back for a third try

We could not decide what to select from the menu for lunch but when we saw the fish and chips being served to all three guests at the adjoining table we were tempted to order the same. The best fish and chips we have ever eaten. The batter was light and crisp and complemented the fish perfectly. The fish was fresh, plump, juicy and flavourful. The service was great, the waiter friendly and attentive. Definitely a keeper for future visits to Wasaga.

Popular with locals as well as visitors, we visited the Iron Skillett in Wasaga Beach for supper, We ordered a delicious Chicken Pad Thai and a succulent Prime Rib with carrots, mashed potaties and red cabbage with Yorkshire Pudding. For dessert, we were were served 'Poutine' . funnell cake with cream cheese and raspberry. The service was perfect, too! We will be back!

Went for a special occasion.
Nice interior, lots of seating.
A piece of paper was handed to us with 1/2 price appetizers. I asked what came on the nachos, since their was no description. She told us the toppings, but never mentioned they are not on “nacho chips” but they are on sweet potato fries. I think that’s something that should be mentioned. I could only eat the toppings. The fries were soggy, and not what I was expecting.
The pulled pork Mac N Cheese was very mediocre. Would say it was ok.
Unfortunately won’t be back.

Brushcetta topping was not freshly made and served on white sliced bread. No baguette or bun. Roast beef on Yorkshire was fatty and stringy. Potatoes were just sliced boring flavorless boiled potatoes. No option on potatoes offered ie fries, baked or mashed etc.

A group of us dropped in late one night. We were seated with a smile and staff were great. We ordered different meals, goulash to seafood crepe to burgers. All of it was good. Staff was attentive. Some recipes were their grandmothers original recipes, it seems she knew what she was doing. The cabbie raved about the schnitzel but we weren’t in the schnitzel mood. This was the second time someone had mentioned their schnitzel being fantastic. It was a Friday night and was busy but not too crazy. It didn’t affect our service. We took some takeout for others back at our cottage rental and they enjoyed their take out as well. Will be coming back next time we are up this way. Final star could be had for being stellar level food prep and presentation, really not something I would expect from this sort of venue. The food is better than average for sure, certainly better than any franchised sit down dining options. If you like independents then don’t miss out on this one!

A group of 8 of us including teens had a great dinner the other night.
The specials were great - some of our party had the wonderful 16 hour brisket as well as jambalaya and chicken and bacon carbonara. The regular menu is also extensive and delicious. The stuffed Yorkshire pudding was a big hit.
Desserts were also great. I recommend the funnel cake. Others in the party enjoyed the homemade cheesecake and the bread pudding.
If you are interested in frozen cocktails they had a lot of options!
We thought the wait staff were great as well

We went there for my husbands 70th birthday with our son and daughter in law and grandaughter and loved it. The food was excellent, a great variety the portions were very large. The young waitress was very sweet checked back several times to make sure we were happy with everything or if there was anything we needed. For sure we will go back there to eat.

As a disclaimer, I didn't know that the restaurant had been featured on the show until after our visit. Our family visited this restaurant on a Friday night and it was very busy for around 5:30 pm. After going through the covid protocols, we were seated at a booth and had a difficult time choosing from all of the great selections on the menu. We ordered the stuffed yorkshire pudding and jambalaya, with a calamari appetizer. The calamari was really fresh and tasy. The stuffed yorkshire pudding was delicious and so much food. The jambalaya I was told was too spicy and difficult to eat. Otherwise, we received excellent treatment from the host and server. I thought the price was reasonable. This review shows 4 stars but is probably more 3.5.

My young granddaughter and I dropped by the Iron Skillet for snacks and a drink. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Our experience with their server Corey is the main reason that I’m writing a review. She was very thoughtful in the way she served us and just so sincerely pleasant. She put a great face on the business. Management should hold onto her!

Overall the food was good. I had the chicken fingers and my husband had the traditional club. We were both happy with our meals and the portion size is more than adequate. It was a Sunday early afternoon and they only had 2 servers which was not enough to service all the tables that they had. No slight to the servers but unfortunately they could not be attentive enough!

Sorry for this lack of attention as this is not the norm! Due to COVID, staffing has been challenge with many of our servers with children and elderly family members sometimes short staffed and training new employees. Hope we can make next visit better.

Terrific stop for dinner. Nice day, Patio was still open. Chicken Parmesan was excellent, crisp breading, creamy penne pasta. Portion is quite large, leftovers were great the next day for lunch. Prime rib was cooked perfectly, Yorkshire pudding was excellent. Friendly staff, overall an enjoyable experience.
