We had an ok evening there, considering we had to wait outside 45 minutes to get a table. We had high expectations, and the food wasn't worth it. The Cesar salad wasn't fresh, the nachos tasted weird and the BBQ sauce for the wings was...store bought (and not the good kind). The beer was good, but not enough for us to forget about the terrible food. On the upside, the staff was great.More
Went in to try this micro brassery, as we wanted to taste local beers. They have a very cool way to taste local beers in small formats. As the picture shows, you can order 4 or 8 different beers for the same price as a...12 onzes beer. I liked this way of presenting their own brews. Nice place, pub style, good service as they know their product and can advise versus your taste, it was fun.More
After a day driving upwards from Quebec City, we happened upon this welcomed stop on our way to our hotel, further out of town. This fit in very well with the artist colony that is Baie St. Paul. Excellent beer and hearty burgers await.
Good range of beers, well presented, but inflexible flight offers. Food generally good although the 'fondue' was a bit misleading, and in fact disappointing (although to be fair the server did say 'its just three pieces of grilled cheese'
Busy place. Good atmosphere.
Their Session IPA alone is enough to make me want come back. It was excellent, I love a great IPA but some these days try too hard, their Session IPA was just perfect, hoppy but not too hoppy, the alcohol content was not too high...either. Good beer, friendly service and a great Burger to go with it.More
After a long day of hiking we were hungry and thirsty. ;-) The beers we tried were great (although they were out of a few beers we wanted to try—hence our trip the next day to the actual brewery: See “Charlevoix Microbrasserie”). The smoked ribs...and smoked chicken were generous portions and very tasty. Our server was great and we didn’t have any problems communicating in our limited French and her english (which was just fine). A nice evening out — I would recommend this if you are looking for a casual evening with great beer.More
