22 years ago we went trekking in the Parque Los Glaciares. After 4 days camping we came back to El Chalten which only had a few tiny A-frame houses at the time and were too happy to shelter from the rain and wind at the sole "restaurant" in the village La Chocolateria. We came back this year with our 3... More

Enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate whilst my friend sampled the brownie and we both chilled out reading our books on the mezzanine level with a lovely view.

Our friends from Turkey has recommended us this place so after a tiring hike we started looking for it. It is a quirky place from outside but inside is warm and beautiful. We ordered classic hot chocolate and one hot chocolate with baileys ! Both were amazing ! No sugar added, it was only homemade bitter chocolate which are served... More

We had chocolate fondue and a few pieces of hard chocolate-all of which was delicious. The fondue was way too much chocolate to finish, but we managed to finish all of the dipping items. The hard chocolate was great as well. There is some really cool memorabilia in here. The inside is rustic and quaint at the same time. Good... More

Came here on the recommendation of my friend's yoga teacher. Spot on! Coffee and the best alfajores. Had the triple decker white choc. Superb. Place feels very cosy.

I came here after having done a four day backpacking trip and grabbed a coffee and an alfajor. I asked the waiter which one was his favourite and got that one (it's called the Torre). It was without a doubt the best alfajor I had during my two month trip through Chile and Argentina!! The coffee was pretty good as... More

Brownies are awesome, add dulce de leche & chocolate and it's next level!! So good! It's big like all food in Argentina but delicious & not nutritious so if you're after a naughty treat visit this cute chocolateria not far off the main road. There chocolates are also yummy & well priced!

Not to be mised if you're in Chalten and like chocolate. Decorated with climbing gear of historical interest.

Hideaway spot with fabulous chocolates and hot chocolate. Enjoyed a treat there one afternoon. Staff was delightful and fascinating decor. This place was one of only two buildings that were first in El Chaltén.
