Seven of us went for lunch on a Sunday late in October 2016. We got there around noon and had our choice of tables. We chose a table under the palms. The view of the Indian Ocean was spectacular and we had a delightful breeze that kept knocking over the portable chalkboard menu. When we left, I noticed that everyone... More

I must have gone to that restaurant like 10 times that is how good the food is. Plus the view....you will be seating having lunch getting a breeze of the sea ....it's stunning. However their need is not the best as in Madagascar there are no real cows just what they call zebu and if you know real beef you... More

I enjoyed listening to the surf and and the birds while sitting on the balcony of my beachfront room. The French cuisine was absolutely amazing. I shared the beach with hard working fishermen and very few tourists.

Good food and service and that is hard to find in Toamasina/Tamatave. Loved their cafe gourmand dessert!

Great spot to have a meal in tamatave, the wine list is not that good , they need to really improve it .the food was however very good and i can recommend it.

Had a delicious dinner here. I had the zebu (beef) sliced fillet. It was the best meal that I had in 12 days in Madagascar. The service was good, but not great. We thoroughly enjoyed the setting near the beach. My wife had a vegetarian pasta that was just ok.

It is a very nice restaurant by the sea-side. The food is good. You can see big boats coming or leaving the port. Really amazing

We have been here more times than we can count, having lived in Toamasina for over 2 years. It is a great location with a beautiful view. If you go early enough for breakfast you can sometimes sit and watch dolphins playing in the surf right in front of the restaurant. They do a great fish - no matter the... More

I was here 3 times in January and February, 2 x for lunch both times I chose grilled fish which was very tasty and a good size portion. 1x for a freshly made fruit juice which was delicious. There is an outside terrace and loungers on the beach so a lovely view on the sea. For visitors from overseas it... More

I honestly have a very difficult time enjoying any "resort" or upscale place when it is surrounded by complete and abject poverty. ie: The local pousse-pousse drivers (bicycles with a cab for fares) charge less than 50 US cents for a tour. They are clad in rags. Hard to enjoy.
