We were recommended this place by a local - if we'd read the reviews beforehand maybe we'd have given it a miss! We were a group of 4, and 3 out of 4 of us were unhappy with our meals. I had locro, which I've had in a lot of places and this was the worst of any of them!... More

The decor and lay-out of this restaurant is second to none. In the open air patio in the back, a musician was playing the guitar just loud enough to be enjoyed. The menu is varied and apetizing. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. We felt rushed to order, our menus practically pulled out of our hands and our... More

I chose the restaurant because it looked nice and cosy, with a patio in the inside. Very disappointed experience. First because of the food : the meat was not tender, the pasta for the kids were not better than the one you can cook yourself. Second : because of the poor welcoming. The owner decreased the lighting because another group... More

My boyfriend and I ate dinner here last night, our second best meal in one week here (1st place was lunch at Bodega Nanni). I had sorrentinos and my boyfriend had the llama. We were SO happy to see a very rare and amazing wine on the list, R.D from Bodega Tacuil (280 pesos, and one of our favourite wines... More

I was convinced to walk in by a guy standing outside urging people walking by to come inside (should have been the first red flag!). The place did have a few other people, however, and so I agreed to dine. They immediately took my order. I was alone, so I asked if they had small wine bottles. The waiter looked... More

We ate here (15 secondary students + three group leaders) every day for three days (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The food was consistently delicious. We all enjoyed trying new dishes from local food whether they were very traditional of the region or had an interesting twist. The paintings and antiques along with all of the decorations make it worth a... More

I can sum the place up by telling you I told the waiter it was my girlfriends birthday and he told me not to worry. Then at the end of a nasty meal (listening to his suggestions - lama meat is disgusting by the way) he brought me a very particular desert that we both hated and then charged us... More

We had an excellent dinner, the salmon is really good. the small rooms are full of old objects and antiques that give a nice atmosphere to the place.

Had a lovely dinner at Macacha! The place is really charming, food very good and they serve one of the best local wines you will be able to find: El Porvenir, "Laborum" Malbec -Cabernet Sauvignon 2005. JUST TOO GOOD! Get a table in the room on the right of the entrance.
