Ordered the Vegetable Tagine, emphasising to the staff that I don't eat meat, reassurances given from them that this is a vegetable dish. Received the Tagine to find chunks of meat at the bottom. Their explanation was that they use a meat stock and add vegetables to it. A negative experience for a vegetarian! The bread was also stale.

Interesting pizzeria serving Berber style pizza which has a pastry crust on both top & bottom, with meat and other things to your order in between. While not to my taste, most of my companions thought it was at least filling. Servers seemed rather aloof and uninterested.

In a small town, this restaurant really stood out and seemed to be the place to be for many tourists. We ordered the Berber pizza and the chicken tajine and were happy with the quality! place was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place for a stopover lunch.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to Merzouga and were pleasantly surprised (given that the restaurant seemed a bit touristy) at the quality of the food. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. We tried the medfouna (Moroccan pizza) and the speciality of the restaurant (a type of tagine) and both were very good.

I visited this restaurant as part of a four day desert party experience for 160 clients. The food was excellent, great service, lots of it, friendly staff, a manager who sorted out any customer issues quickly, what else can I say? Amazing!

Ate here for a quick dinner after a long day of touring. Behold... Pizza, and not bad compared to American standards either. Yes, there are other items, but the pizza is a specialty. 2 things would have made this visit awesome, Beer and air conditioning. Don't despair, you should be drinking water in the desert anyway... Friendly staff, fresh flavors... More

The waiters smiled in a forceful way, disappeared a lot when needed. The heat of the city makes all liquid very warm. Quiet restaurant with a berbere yellow/brown colour inside. Worth a try

Who would think you could get such a wonderful meal in the desert in a tiny town miles from anywhere. Our driver and guide Abdel chose this place for us so we could try the Medfounas (a sort of Berber stuffed pizza) and we weren't disappointed. We tried all three-beef, chicken and vegetarian and loved them all but perhaps the... More

We enjoyed the Berbere pizza here. You can watch your pizza being made. The restaurant was quiet and artfully decorated.

An enjoyable respite from tajines by choosing pizza in a wood-fired oven. Nothing spectacular, but an enjoyable outdoor patio with birds, sunshine, and cheap pizzas. I would recommend the pizza with capers.
