Don't be misled by the name Cafe Gannet. It is no ordinary café, but a first class restaurant located at the historical 'Post Tree' of Mossel Bay. Situated almost on the coast line it offers the blue view of the Indian ocean, wide open spaces...More

We were staying in the hotel adjacent to this restaurant (Protea Mossel Bay which we'd highly recommend too). The service and food were fantastic and the restaurant had a great atmosphere with plenty of hustle and bustle, yet very attentive service by our waiter.

King Prawns were excellent, cooked perfectly in a butter sauce, sauces on the side kan be skipped in my opinion. Our waiter Casper was a great guy 💕👍thanks so much, we had a lovely evening!

Potentially Mossel Bay’s fanciest restaurant (but still on the casual side), we had a great evening meal here with good service and delicious seafood - the mussels were amazing! All very reasonably priced by Australian standards.

The Café Gannet Restaurant is Mossel Bay's seafood House. Acclaimed for local seafood specialties, ingeniously prepared. Coastal oysters, black mussels and Mossel Bay Sole are delivered daily from the harbour to make a delectable and varied a la carte menu, which includes pizza, salads, meat dishes, light lunches and Rainbow Cuisine. For a relaxing afternoon, come and enjoy a cocktail overlooking the Indian Ocean... The Cafe Gannet is a great treat, which will please the most discerning palate - very trendy, so bookings are recommended.
