I was walking around the main street in Mossel Bay when this little place caught my eye. I ventured in, by myself and ordered lunch, the special of the day, some type of curry. I was delighted to see a good substantial plate of a very good curry. The vegetables on the side were cooked perfectly, the rice was cooked... More

My husband and I booked a table here for our anniversay. This is a really quaint restaurant. Staff were very friendly, and the place was immaculately clean. We were made to feel welcome, and the service was superb. The food and wine were also very satisfying, and we left feeling content. This is a lovely place to go for an... More

Rarely does one find gourmet food in a gift shop-and-restaurant combo, but Fynbos gets that right! Even though the gift shop is renowned in its own right for its excellent choice, the 'traffic' there never interferes with the eating experience! If it's the food you're after, turn right upon entering this quaint historic house. There you will find good, honest... More

Easy to become a regular here - sophisticated, stylish, excellent food and good friendly service... and best of all, no kids of 5, or 2,5 - what a pleasure !!

My husband and I popped in to have a bite to eat. He had the Mozart cake and I had their very tasty bacon and mushroom quiche with a side salad. I also had a strawberry milkshake, which was not overly sweet and therefore very refreshing. I have been visiting this restaurant for the last 20 years and I can... More

Friendly service. Husbands can relax while wifes touch every object in the shop. I like the atmosphere - sitting inside or outside

Liked the gift shop and the menu but the service was very slow although it was not very busy at the time.

Not one of my favourite spots in Mosselbay, the service was not good at all and the food mediocre. I will not be going there again.

Can't complain about the service. There wasn't any! Bad attitude by the manager. You've seen the last of me.
