A highly recommended place for family who loves to eat and spend quality time together. Their food was great and worth the price. We tried some of their dishes Nevertheless we place was impressive. We will definitely come back. 👍🏻

I love this original Bag of beans location. The place is hip with the right ambiance for families, friends and casual dates. The breakfast plates are huge and are bang for the buck. Servers are warm and knowledgeable of their menu. Shepherd's pie and the blueberry cheesecake should not be missed. I have not tried the buffet. I heard it... More

I was a bit sad when my famous stop towards the south became a feeding frenzy and entered into the buffet business. The food is simply your traditional ones whoever because its "buffet" theme it has lost the ambiance and chatting with friends on a quiet weekend. Sure hope that they could back to the coffee menu and pies which... More

This is my second visit to bag of beans and I must say, this time I liked the place better. As I entered the restaurant every single thing caught my eye. From the hanging umbrellas on the ceiling, to the decor, everything is designed in a way that you would want to take pictures everywhere. We availed of the breakfast... More

Since I have seen many of my friends in facebook have visited this place I wanted to come and see it, too. We ordered house blend coffee, which was a version of tea and which I am not used to like here in Europe. My brother inlaw ordered a blueberry cheesecake and I tried an apple pie ala mode. Both... Somehow I was able to convince my senior friends to go all the way to Tagaytay to experience the cool weather, wonderful view of Taal and good food. We chose Bag of Beans as I had been to its other branch with garden view and had a good experience. This time we went to their newer Charito branch. The view... More

As always, Bag of Beans never fail to satisfy my appetite for good food. The place was homey, service was okay but gets pretty filled up fast especially during the weekends.

We went here for a late breakfast on a Tuesday. It was quiet. But I imagine it would be very busy at weekends. It is an old-ish house. Rather late colonial in style. Nicely decorated and furnished throughout, mainly in white. The focus is the terrace and balconies which overlook Lake Taal - the views are sensational. Even on a... More
