I had a lovely lunch at La Bodega. I ate local dish, rice with peas and chicken. It included side salad and I was pleasantly surprised how fresh it was. The price was also good .Service was excellent.

It looks like a nice restaurant. The first time was good with some appetizers and cheese and ham, friendly staff. After this first time, a disaster: limited menu with some good things. Not well organised: menus not clear and/or without prices...left to the fantasy of the staff. They can do much more. Never again.

Dear Tatooine, We appreciate your review and I am sorry your experience wasn't good. Would you mind elaborating on what you mean by "limited menu"? Our restaurant's menu is consistent throughout Wednesday and Sunday, however, on Tuesday's we have a weekly event with guest Chef Big D called Tapas Tuesdays where he puts together a different tapas menu each week.... Found this little place on the edge of town. Service was good. Food was a depart from the usual fare in this small beach town. Chef Big D offers a topas menu here Tuesday evenings. We had his version of a Philly Cheese Steak, the Gorgonzola & Arugula French Bread Pizza and the Chilean Sea Bass en Papillote. It was... More

Absolutely stunning dining experience, friendly and funny service, as well as amazing food/portion for the price. As the most recent visit was not the first, this restaurant has changed a lot in a really good way, with more variation is food and wine! Little bit busy street, but otherwise relaxing with a good choice of music/volume. Would recommend for sure!

I dropped by here with a couple friends on our way to Bliss, but this place look cheaper and most of the group didn't have a lot of money with them. There is one waitress/bartender who is the funniest thing. The pricing was really decent and the portion sizes were great. The cook was great at accommodating to people. I,... More

We went there on a monday rainy evening. The atmosphere looked authentic Spanish. However service was not so great as they forgot two times what we ordered and was a bit slow. The food was average. Portions are good though. The taste of the tapaz and caesar salad should be better. They have specials at night for a cocktail and... More

We chose La Bodega for dinner one night on our recent trip to Cabarete, discovering it while perusing dining options on a busy side street. It looked like a nice place with inviting décor and ambience, and the menu was appealing with options for both the grown ups and our two younger kids. There was one group of around 8... More
