A little out of the way Casa Manu offers a real dining experience if you want to get away from the beach bars and restaurants and try something more authentic. The fresh fish is always amazing and the service is excellent. It's small and very typical of the local scene here. Don't expect fine dining but something rustic and enjoyable!

First it's right by the police station. The menu is in Spanish so it's a little hard for us Americans that speak no Spanish. But we worked it out. I did try the garlic soup. It wasn't as good as I thought it might be but I'm glad I tried it. Our group had different kinds of fish and they... More

While staying at the Extreme hotel, I ate here for almost all 3 meals most days. Everything was fresh and delicious from smoothies to breakfast to sushi. I highly recommend the shrimp risotto. They do operate on "Dominican time" so relax and enjoy the kiteboarders and the waves while you wait for your meal.

The food is cheap and delicious. The owner cooks it quickly. She's laid back and very friendly. This experience is very different from the beach strip restaurants. It is a local experience with great food and kind service.

The owner is a wonderful lady, who will prepare your food the best way. She is cheerful and laid back (but food comes fast!). Food is delicious and very affordable. Something different to experience from the crowded beach front restaurant strip. If you want to have a conversation you'd need to know a bit of Spanish.

Visiting this little but comfy restaurant is highly recommended if you're in the area and in for an experience of local high quality food served with a smile by the owner! We tried the grilled seafood plate which included crawfishes, shrimps, octopus, calamari and fish salad. This awesome selection was accompanied with fried plantain, rice and the famous Dominican red... More

Try out daily specials! I had their eggplant dish and it was so delicious. Lovely staff, not so expensive menu. Best coco loco. They also have different events occasionally so you could check that out! :)

I have been to this restaurant 3 times SO FAR.... I am obsessed with the sopa de ajo (garlic soup). Its served in a large bowl that was shared by 3 of us, but honestly, I could have eaten the entire bowl myself I love it that much. I have also had the paella here and it was very good... More
