More than once the welcome was been non existent and they needed more staff in the busier times. One member of staff in particular has no customer... More

A very well appointed country pub with buckets of character. Friendly and efficient staff greet you and invite you into a clean and pleasant dining room. An open fire is the jewel in the crown for the cold and tired diner. A wide selection of home cooked food and fine ales on tap are available. I the real ale drinker... More

After attending an ordination at Rochester Cathedral where my wheelchair bound wife was not treated very well, we sought sustenance and revival. We got it here in spades. A warm welcome all round, excellent food, excellent service. All at a good price.

Came here for a birthday meal with the family, can honestly say it's the best food I have had in long time reasonably priced, staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Can't wait to come back!!!!

Went here to celebrate my brother's birthday and got to say it did not disappoint. The food was amazing with plenty of choice to please most people and the portion size is really good, I had pie which I would recommend to anyone although everyones meals looked good. The service was good, very attentive and helpful. Definitely recommended, give it... More

Having been to this pub before it's facelift, I can say that it has been done up really nice but that's where it stops. Friends had said that the carvery was great so we chose to go for a normal weekday lunch. It was horrible, if it was just one of the three of us you could say ok, but... More
