My wife and our sons to me out to eat with the place to eat being my choice. So I decided, as usually, to select a place that I have not eaten at before. It is a very spacious place with plenty of parking and has a lake next to it where you can watch and feed the ducks. The... More

We have been to Cock of the Walk multiple times over many years. My son does not live in the area and wants to go there whenever he comes for a visit. We are regular customers.

We saw the ad in the Arkansas travel magazine. We went out of our way to go have dinner there. Nowhere in the ad did it say they were closed on Mondays. If a restaurant is not going to be open, it should at least say "call to see if we are open" in the ad.

Much, much better food than Grandpa's (a catfish place very close by). The coleslaw, cornbread, greens are good. The fried pickles and onion rings were great. I prefer thin catfish - but this was good. It's a great place to take a bunch of people with no reservations. One of those places that you can just show up, get seated... More

Excellent catfish and delicious sides! You will get large portions so you can share. Don't forget the greens and fried pickles!

Cornbread and coleslaw were tasty. Catfish and shrimp were okay, but chicken wasn't that great. Atmosphere was quaint and service was alright. Nice to go somewhere that wasn't a chain restaurant, but not as good as we had hoped.

I really enjoyed the grilled catfish and baked potato dinner. Cool atmosphere too! All wood rooms, tin plates.

Besides the atmosphere, the service and the food at this spot can't be beat. The restaurant is one of several such, and worth a trip to any one of the places. The catfish cant' be beat, the cornbread gets 'tossed' and served, the onions that accompany any meal (as is the cornbread) are something we crave! One of our favorite... More

Loved our visit to MS. Saw LR had one. Beautiful setting. Same menu....but not open til 4pm. Decks to sit on and a pond with fountain to watch. All the foods was hot, fresh And fried! As it should be. Thin batter of cornmeal dip, spiced Nd tasty. Hush puppies good, not crumbly or chewy. Catfish and chicken strips are... More

It is a rustic feel with some good beans and cornbread along with your meal. Food was good quality with generous portions. The wait was a little long and we did enjoy the meal.
