Arrived on a warm October day but tables were dirty while four staff chatted in the preparation area. Don't they think tables should be made ready for customers. Tea itself ok but table near us had their tea delivered and then the staff decided to...More

Established in 1870, this quaint place is still going strong. There are a few small covered shelters but most of the seating is open-air, either out in the sun or in the shade of some trees. We had a very enjoyable cream tea with home-made...More

Lovely setting. Fresh food and good service if a little pricey. My one complaint is that the cabin we sat in looked like it had not been swept out for a while. The floor was quite dirty.

Had a lovely cream tea at this tea garden recently, not only with friends on Thursday but took my husband back on Saturday. Scones are delicious and warm. It was beautiful sunshine on both occasions but there are undercover huts should the weather be suspect!...More

This is a lovely location, with trees and 'secret' paths wandering off in all ports of directions. The first shop is the one selling crystals by the entrance; the tea room is further back with the garden nursery to the right. They were quite busy...More
