The location is good but the food is average. You can find burgers, shawarma, club sandwich at quite decent prices but the food is not great. They also serve alcohol.

Waiter had bad attitude. We ordered starters in the beginning. Then I asked for some more starters and my main course, and the waiter says that I should order everything in one go. I order one falafel sandwich and when the order arrived, there were no falafel balls in the sandwich. Even instead of pita, it was a wrap kind... More

We had a varied and very filling lunch. Clearly everyone was well fed on the day that we dined here.

Lived up to the Trip advisor reviews. Meals are large and the falafel sandwiches amazing. My husband had the chicken kebabs and it was so large and tasty he could barely finish it, served with a lovely salad. No alcohol sold anywhere so you won't enjoy a wine with lunch or dinner but the food is really good and the... More

Very helpful and friendly staff. Good local food close to Petra gates. They offered different Jordanian dishes that were very tasty. Also had free wifi.

This place is close to Petra which means they are conveniently located so it feels they are lazy about the food quality. Given the costs of the meal I would recommend to go up further into the town a bit (500 metres) and try food at the main roundabout restaurants where you'll find beautiful traditional dishes and good service. The... More

We chose this restaurant as it was near to our hotel. It was not busy but the service was extremely slow. We waited 45 min for our food to arrive and even then only half of us got our meal. Another 15 min later the rest of the food arrived and when it did, it was stone cold, dry and... More

Because of good reviews on TA we had dinner at Red Cave.... well we shouldn t have. What is there to like there? The decor inside looks ok but we had dinner on the terrace with its glaring white neon bulbs and plastic decor! Food was particular untasty = no flavor at all! A blind test should be carried out.... The Red Cave restaurant is the perfect place to stop for a cold beverage after a long day walking in Petra. We didn't eat there just had drinks but the food that people ordered looked quite good.

Was a unique place for a drink. Had a really good piano player/singer. Right across street from hotel. Enjoyed having a fun evening there
