Excellent little Tea and coffee shop, in a brilliant location , we sat for an hour with tea and cake watching the boats...so impressed we came back two days later having purchased one of their take away lunch boxes ( we opted for the luxury grazing box ...worth every penny) .. which we consumed on our afternoon boat trip .
Highly recommend a visit and their picnic boxes

If you want a decent lunch with friendly and attentive service at very reasonable prices then look no further than here. Everything we tried from cakes, buttered scones and the wonderful sausage rolls were tasty and generous portion size. All the specials are also mouth watering and served promptly and fresh made.
If you can't eat the huge slices of cake then they also provide a box for you to take it away for later.
A credit to Wroxham and all the nice e ladies who work there.

WOW! If you want AMAZING food then this is the place to go. Visited last year and the food was exceptional. Went again this year and it was everything we remembered. Amazing food, amazing service. The dog even was remembered as the lady brought out dog biscuits for her and we had to stop her (our dog has allergies), which the host remembered from last year. Came for lunch and cake, homemade and truly delicious. We pre- booked afternoon tea delivery- this was the best Afternoon Tea we had ever eaten, it was worth every penny. If your in the broads after something filling, yummy, and delicious then this is the place to visit. Thank you ladies, your place is AMAZING 👏

What can I say about this place, we were down on holiday and thank goodness we found this little gem of a place, the food is excellent, all home made and super fresh and delicious.
Boundy and Lou are the perfect hosts, they are charming, funny very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
We ordered a hamper for our boat trip and OMG it was beautifully presented and tasted delicious.
We will defiently be back when we return.

We first visited here when passing through the broads in July, which turned out to be their first week of opening, after a short break in Suffolk. We were looking for a sandwich and literally stumbled across here. With a nice view of the water in a sheltered spot we sat and ate a delicious ploughman’s sandwich and a cream tea. We told friends and family of the find should any visit Wrexham at any time. We have just visited Norwich with friends who wanted a day at the broads and ended up back at the A Slice of the Broads. Without suggesting what to select they chose the Ploughman’s and a BLT. Neither were disappointed and neither were we. If we are ever back in Wrexham hopefully this place will still be there. Oh and I mustn’t forget the ladies who own the cafe they can’t do enough and are very attentive. I highly recommend this establishment.

Ordered a takeaway Afternoon Tea for Mother’s Day yesterday. All freshly made sandwiches, cakes, along with scones with butter, jam and clotted cream. All (securely) boxed for takeaway and decorated with fresh fruit. Absolutely delicious, so much food! We also had sausage rolls, again delicious. Great service, great value for money and great coffee. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you Ladies.

A surprising find & well worth a visit! A gorgeous covered decking with heating & furnishings was an added benefit where we enjoyed a coffee & delicious homemade cake while watching the boats on the broads. Our Cockerpoo also enjoyed the doggy snacks & water offered. Owners were very welcoming & friendly. We will be back!!

Was recommended to call in here and popped in for coffee and cake. What a fantastic and friendly welcome we received. The cakes and drinks were brilliant and delivered by the owner making us feel as welcome as if we’d been going there for years. Highly recommended and will be going back every time we are in Hoverton.

We took refuge here when a storm was approaching - we’re so pleased we did! The cake selection meant that we had to have a piece each just so we could try two, and the lady reassured us that we could have a box for whatever we couldn’t manage. Both cakes were delicious, we had a lovely big pot of tea and waited very snugly for the rain to pass. The ladies were so welcoming and friendly; we will definitely return next time we are in Wroxham.

While having a Norfolk break my wife and I took the narrow gauge Bure Valley railway from Aylsham to Wroxham.
Wandering round Hoveton (Wroxham station is in Hoveton) we came across the little jewel that is the ‘Slice of the Broads’.
Staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly a real welcome awaits anyone visiting here for refreshments.
After ordering drinks, one cold drink and a flat white coffee we were seduced by the offer on the snacks menu of cheese scones.
The flat white was perfect, so many cafes will insist on making their flat white as just a small latte, this quite obviously wasn’t and met the velvety softness and deep flavour that a coffee lover would expect.
The scones were also excellent, light and fluffy with a full cheese flavour, although a little too much thyme for my personal taste.
Dear traveller, do not miss this little gem when you’re next in the area you won’t regret a visit.

Tucked just beside the bridge, this is a little gem with 5 or 6 covered tables. Very friendly and welcoming with impeccable service.
My wife and I both had tuna doorstep sandwiches, and the bread was fresh and delicious and full of tuna mayonnaise, with accompanying salad and coleslaw.
It was so tasty that we couldn't resist the beautiful freshly made cakes for dessert!

We found this lovely little tea shop while we were staying nearby, we had a pot of tea for two and scones. Service was excellent and literally the best cup of tea I’d had served in beautiful cups and saucers with a proper decent sized pot. Served with fresh scones with Jam and cream all home cooked definitely worth stopping by.

If your in the area of Wroxham (or even if your not) try and make a visit here, you will not be disappointed. We managed three visits so far and can comfortable say they make wonderful cakes and scones and the welcome they give you is second to none. We love our cakes and scones and always make a point of trying out various locations searching for the best and can say these are there at the top of the list, you don`t have to take our word for it, give them a try and see for yourselves, they also do more than just cakes but try and leave a little space for that extra treat, enjoy.

Called in for lunch. Service was first class, water and dog biscuits provided as we sat down!
Coffee was first class, cheese scone and apple and chutney was delicious, but the date and ginger cake was sublime. Properly gingery with both stem and crystallised ginger and clearly homemade from the finest ingredients. No cheap packet mixes or bought in goodies here.
Would give 6 stars if I could. Service was just as good as the food.
