We took great pride in taking visitors to this coffee shop as we have been before and enjoyed ourselves. Not so this time. I did not get the quiche I ordered and hubby's hamburger was average. The guests ordered pastries which they did not rave about. A problem was that our hot orders took long enough that they had finished... More

Visited this cafe just for a coffee and cake, it was delicious! There is a lot of choice and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating, it was nice and quiet upstairs compared to downstairs.

This is a quiet little venue that serves fresh cake and pastries. It is ideal for a morning or afternoon cuppa or a snack lunch. In historic centre of Simon's Town.

The pastry is so good. We had the scones, pecan pie, red velvet cupcake, passion fruit tart and apple nougat tart. They were all delicious but the apple nougat was our favourite! A must eat if you are in Simon's Town.

We visited for a coffee and we're tempted by the cakes. A huge selection and very delicious whilst reasonably priced too! Thoroughly recommended.

Some of the nicest pastries we have eaten in a long time! The quality and freshness is superb and although it is considered fairly pricey, they are guaranteed to find the sweet spot. Wonderful aromas eminating from the doorway just draws you in from the street. This little shop is simple to find and is in the main street, serving... More

The Sweetest Thing based in Simonstown has the best tarts in town. So when we spend the weekend as a little get away from the city we visit The Sweetest thing and buy their Glorious little sweet and savour tarts and quiches - very inventive with their use of ingredients. We generally buy quiches and tarts and take these home... More
