Having read all the other reviews, we booked to eat here during our holiday in Luarca. They took our reservation for 8pm, even though they don't actually start serving dinner until 9pm. We needed help with the difficult fish menu & the owner, who could speak excellent English, made us feel very uncomfortable because we couldn't speak Spanish! We were... More

We were staying in the Hotel Baltico during a short stay in Luarca. We have family that lives in a nearby town and invited us to lunch at the Sport which is right by the hotel. The food was excellent and so was the service.

Great service. Friendly and helpful. Primarily fish and seafood. Large portions so a starter between 4 is probably enough before the main course. Well decorated. Opens onto street. No view but close to centre and easy to find.

When we finally got some food, it was great. First waitress left us just standing but the second one immediately found us a free table. Menus only in spanish.

After 25 years, we were revisiting Luarca, and decided to have lunch at the port. We parked right in front of Barometro, a restaurant that had good reviews, but the owner said we had to wait for 1 hour, so we decided to take a walk around and 100 meters ahead we found Sport Restaurant. As our sugar levels were... More

When we arrive to the restaurant was a bit crowded and we had to wait for a table. After 20 mins waiting at the bar we finally got it. Had to admit that the food we ordered was very well cooked, was a delicius fish experience. One waitress wasn´t that kind with us but in general the service was ok,... More

We were lucky enough to get Juan Carlos' personal attention--he did not disappoint. We were treated like royalty. Great fish (outstanding rodaballo) and fabada. To top it all, a fantastic Petalos wine. Thanks for the orujo! Carlos (el amigo de Fernando).

When visiting Luarca we wanted to take the time to lunch as it just started raining. We had the artichokes and pulpo as starters, both very nice. As main plate we had the zamburinas and the rape. Both dishes were nice. The desserts were too sweet for our taste (but probably not for Spanish people). Waiters or owners are very... More

We were traveling to the Picos de Europa and stopped in this lovely town for some lunch. We were lucky to have picked to wonderful place. They have a nice bar and lovely table service. The mussels (Mejillones) were very good as well as the rest of the meal. Although I speak little Spainish and the staff little English, communication... More
