Reservations were made for a birthday dinner. Took over an hour for the food to arrive, and two pieces of salmon were forgotten and had to be brought out late. The menu is limited and pricey. Wine menu was fantastic, and good wine was indeed...More

Had 10 days in Bakersfield so made the rounds of restaurants around the Padre. Went to The Mark for a steak dinner. The service was indifferent and while decent the food was nothing remarkable. Much more interesting places to go in the neighborhood.

We recently went here on a Saturday night with friends, and really enjoyed ourselves. First off, if your looking to save a buck, this is not your place! Prices are high, but the food was excellent. I had the large filet, and it was great!...More

Cheapest plate is $22 for pasta, which had no flavor and very small proportions for the price. The average price of dinner was about $30 a plate and they didn't have very much to choose from. The waiter seemed to get upset that my wife...More

I recently went out for a date to The Mark and was excited. I heard the food was amazing. It did not disappoint to some extent. The clam chowder was one of the best I have ever had. It was very creamy and delicious. The...More

My Hubby and I enjoy date night dinners at The MARK! It's located in the Heart of Downtown Bakersfield, in a restored Historic building that dates back to the early 1900's! They have NO Joke, Ginormous Alaskan King Crab Legs!! It's always a lively crowd...More
