A very pleasant experience, the food was nicely prepared, a nice menu with lots of choices, nice ambiance, and our server Owen was friendly and efficient, and nice to talk to. It was our first time at this venue and were greeted by Trish who was excellent both in her manner of greeting and timing which allowed us to work out what we wanted. We have been to Symposium several times and it is always a good experience. The staff really try to please and they are very efficient. The staff wear masks even though it isn't required which is nice to see. Also, we like the open feeling...these days. Everyone was satisfied with their food in our party of 4, 2 teriyaki salmons, 1 chicken souvlaki and 1 chicken wings. All the food is nicely prepared, like the roast potatoes and the French fries with the wings looked nicely done. The desserts look really special if you are a dessert person.More
I guess I started the title with "Pleasant Place" because Symposium has a nice atmosphere....large inside and very generous patio space. The food is nicely made, always good quality. Service is exceptional, Brooke was friendly and helpful....very competent. I had a hamburger with a Caesar...Salad....the salad was especially fresh with a nice blend of ingredients, hamburger had a nice bun and tasted homemade...liked the sauteed onions option. My partner had Chicken Souvlaki and asked for roasted potatoes instead of rice which they will substitute. All very nice....I would like to try one of the bowl dishes another time.More
We haven’t been here for over a year. My wife who must eat gluten free did had very limited options at that time and what she had was not good. My wife is in Ottawa now, so I decided to try it out. It’s Friday...so I ordered the fish and chips. Two thumbs up. The best fish and chips in town, for $14 to huge portions of fish and ample of fries. I got early here do the house wine is $4.00. I am a big eater but I cannot finish my meal. Highly recommended.More
Went there with some friends for lunch, I had the chicken wings. $10 for a pound.. I’ll take that! Can’t go wrong with those $4 Caesar’s they always have as well.

Every time I go here the food is good. We went as a large group now several times and the service was fantastic and we were all very happy with our food. The best part is their delicious carrot cake!
Tried this place a couple of times each time was horrible. Wait time is very long each time orders were screwed up. Or didn’t get what was ordered even when asking if they had ranch dressing as I like it for when I have wings....Once order brought to the table was told they don’t carry ranch dressingMore

although the service has been quite slow 3 of our last 4 visits the daily specials are a good value and nice if you have a group that wants to share a bunch of items. The french toast was delicious. One of best attributes of this restaurant is the spacing between tables so that you can enjoy a private conversation with your friend(s). Food is Great Value as well.
